The Logitech Driving Force Wireless is a one-piece, force-feedback racing wheel that's comfortable, easy to set up and store, and cuts down on clutter. Features include 2.4 GHz wireless technology for lag-free control from up to 10 metres (30 feet) away from the console; force-feedback technology, which recreates bumps and crashes with exceptional realism; an expandable lap rest for comfortable game play without being bound to a table or desk; and built-in gas and brake controls which put precise, fast action within easy reach.

The Logitech Driving Force Wireless is compatible with both PS2 and PS3 computer entertainment systems.

Obviously not one of the better Logitech models out there but for $50 i reckon it's good value :)

  • I think the store price is around the $70-80 mark so you could save yourself the hassle by reserving one online.

  • Does anyone know how many times the wheel can turn?

    • its 90' lock so not really good if you wanted to use it as a "serious" wheel. More for kids imo. Great price though.

Also note that there are no pedals IIRC.

      • I don't think that's right I think it's more like 200 degree wheel rotation.

  • Whats the model #, any reviews online?

  •
Shame the GT wheel isn't the same discount
I agree, Common Mr. Smith - lash out give us a deal

  • The pedals on the wheel does need some time to get used to but once that learning period is over it works really well. I also find it works really well on the lap and it's definitely much easier to set up no hassle there and no wires left, right and center. I think the biggest issue with this model would be compatibility with newer games (pretty sure in the future Logitech will still continue to support the GT model but this one i'm not so sure). I have read that GT upwards works with Motorstorm Apocalypse but this one doesn't. The steering works but the pedals don't :( I have also read that this one doesn't work with Dirt 3 even though it did for Dirt 1 and 2. A real shame definitely a great piece of gear and one you can see yourself using again and again given how easy it is to set up.

    • But won't you be able to custody it for each game, I thought each racing game offers you a option to customize a unique wheel controller? Or is too much hassle to customize one of these things?

      • +1

I think it has to do with what the game offers. I don't think there's a way to customize the wheel itself outside of any game (ie reassign buttons). In-game customization is not a hassle at all just takes a couple of minutes that's all. The pedals will take a few hours to get used to though (holding acceleration and steering part). But after that it's smooth sailing. I can confirm this wheel works very well with GT5 and F1 2010 but the peddles don't work with Apocalypse (you have to press X to accelerate etc - the game lacks customization). I have also read that it doesn't work with Dirt 3.
