Just received it from the last deal - ended up paying $13.36 (no idea why or how; maybe a glitch?)

Tracking number was incorrect, but package arrived 3 days before ETA. Seems to be genuine (has a scratch code that I verified) and charges my phone really fast.

    • Where is the scratch code?

      • it's on the outside of the box.

adding 2 items to the cart for me works out to 16.92 each after 20% for me

    • +6

      You're only getting 1 X $5 discount.

      Buy 2 separately to get 2 X $5 discount.

$14.92 for me - paypal, ebay plus, coupon code.

  • Noob question, i heard we need some kind of permission to carry powerbank to plane? Above some capacity? Thanks

    • Under 20000mah is fine to carry

      • +8

        Under 100 Wh. So a hair over 27 Ah at 3.7 V.

There's a reason a lot of powerbanks are 26800 mAh (often 8P cells rated 3350 mAh each).

    • +1

Usually the limit is 100 Wh (the one above is ~37Wh even says so at the bottom in case you need to prove it at check in)

      eg. https://www.qatarairways.com/en-au/baggage/restricted.html

      • Thanks a lot guys, bought one. Ta

  • Are these heavy?

  • Anyone know how fast is it to charge these powerbank. I have one 3 years old xiaomi that takes forever to charge. It does fast charge my phone

    • It charges relatively fast (S9+). I also have the older version with the capacity of 20000 mAh and it does not charge as fast as this one.

    • +2

From the manual that came with mine:

approx 3.5 hrs (9V/2A or 12V/1.5A; standard cable)
approx 5.5 hrs (5V/2A adapter; standard cable)

      • Thing he\she means how long it takes to charge the power bank, as they generally only charge at a max of 2.4 amps @5v

  • Can someone link me to a silicone case for these? I can't seem to find it on ebay. I've tried buying one and it ended up being the wrong size (bought one for the old 10000maH mi bank)

  • I have several Xiaomi powerbanks over the last few years and have been a fan of the products. Recently though my 10,000 Mah powerbank bloated which is dangerous as the cell can rupture and start a fire. I've probably only charged it up less than 10 times as I rotate my powerbanks. Just started buying Cygnett, they are expensive but the build quality is top notch. I use the Chargeup Pro 20K Po to charge my EOS R.

Hey, how did your power bank bloat?

      • No idea why it bloated. Picked it up one day to check the remaining capacity to see if it needed recharging then noticed that the seams at the bottom of the powerbank were slightly parted. Picked it up to look at it that's when I noticed the bulge on the bottom of the powerbank. I use Blitzwolf SW6 chargers so I hope its not the cause of the bloating. No issues with other Xiaomi powerbanks…yet. I am also using Romoss and ZMI PD powerbanks which were posted on OzBargain and am definitely not buying Xiaomi powerbanks for a while.

        • +5

Every ozbargainer has at least 10 xiaomi powerbanks and they would have been yelling their heads off here if this was a common occurence…..

        • +1

Which model is it? Would be interesting to see what cells are inside.

    • I have a whole bunch of Xiaomi power banks. Two of them are 10,000mAh Power Bank Pros, and they are both bloated.

      • Yes, mine was the pro version as well, USB C charging.

Delivery are no longer free (even for eBay Plus member)?

    • yeah was just about to say that argh

  • Yeah can’t get the free postage as eBay plus member

  • Discount code doesn't work for me :/

    • Did you try in app?

      Edit: seems expired

      • Nah but it's just been tagged as expired so it looks like I just missed out. That's what I get for hesitating over $15 :)

        • Deal valid again.

          • @RichardL: Still get "this code can't be applied to your order" both on website and app.

            • +1

@SchnozzBargain: Code still valid for me.

Make sure you haven't used the code more than 5 times, and that your eBay region is set to AU (might be set to UK, if you took advantage of eBay UK deals).

  • Do these charge switches?

    • +1

In the pics it says it's good for Switch.

      • thanks!

  • Is there a 10,000 mAh powerbank with USB-C power in and out? Down with USB A!

  • +1

    Still cannot apply the code

    • Same here, tried multiple times today across different devices and operating systems but it's always giving the same error saying that the code can't be applied to this order. Weird stuff.

      • +1

Is your eBay account registered with Australia as the main country and with an Australia address? If not, jump on eBay live chat and they'll sort it out for you.

        • Yep, got Australia as the country, Australian address and Australian phone number too, still no luck.

Never had an issue like this before which is why it's so weird.

          • @SchnozzBargain: That's really odd, best thing to do is to jump on eBay live chat, I'm sure they can figure out what's going wrong and sort it out for you.

Got two of these, from Gearbest I think, for $40 delivered two or three years ago. Only use them while camping but both still work. The rubber surround that can be bought for these is a worthwhile purchase.

Thanks OP. Managed to get one.

  • Are these power bank genuine ones?,checked the code on xiaomi website and it says the code has been checked 39 times. But i have only checked it once.

    • Mine has arrived and the scratch-off security code checks out. Product and packaging look good to my untrained eye.
