  • They should have named it V12

  • These any good? Compared to Dyson?

      Better :p

Have been using it for the last few months, really happy with it!

      • Thanks, have put my order in.

    Your Dreames will suck.

  • Anyone ordered from these guys? Am I better off paying the extra and going through Gshopper?

    • +1

yeah ordered my phone from them a couple of weeks ago. My experience was alright + fast overseas shipping; look up tobydeals on ozb and whirlpool to make your own judgment

      • Have ordered 2000 worth of camera gear. All arrived witin 5 days

    • i had a phone that took over a week before they marked as shipped. in the end took 2 weeks, but certainly much cheaper than I could get elsewhere.
I think the biggest risk is you get charged GST since they don't collect it, but not sure the likelihood of that.

      • they mark items cheapers on the box

  • I would assume this does not come with an AU wall plug. And how's servicing/warranty repairers. Might be better to buy through eBay https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/488949 but more expensive. And can also get the carpet roller from the eBay store.

    • eBay stock would end up cheaper with gift cards use. And 1% cashback.

    • comes with AU plug

  • hows this compare to dyson. in specs

  • Does anyone have an explanation as to why vacuums are so expensive? They are just a motor, battery, electronics, formed plastic - nothing that should add up to much. Compare it to a remote control car that would have similar motor specs but perhaps a smaller battery - say $80 (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/205611)

Not the same but what's so different that the price should be so different?

    • Higher demands.

      • Sure but where's the supply response from competitors?

    • More electronics, larger battery, more parts, more powerful engine.
Your car might lift off with 2 v9 rolls royce engines, lol.
A normal good vacuum with cord costs a few hundred or use a good cheap broom.
Sure, you can build and sell cheaper ones for ozbargainers.

    • Longevity. They need to be engineered to last much longer with heavy use.

  • Is this a good price? If it dead after a few year, how the support?
    Dyson support is quite good.

Will they put in a mask as a gift?

  • Actual runtime normal use?

  • Has anyone had to do a warranty claim via Toby's deals ? Any feedback on the process and time taken to resolve ?

I ordered this one day after posting and only now (6 days later) had they told me they had no stock. And they only told that after I had to ask them! They took my money immediately. Shouldn't of even got that far.

    Talk about service.

    • I got an email from them yesterday as well telling me if I wanted the V9P version for the same price. I replied asking what the difference is and what is the eta, and no reply.

    • I did the same thing with the v9p on 4th november. 4 days later i sent enquiry: no stock. what a pain in the a**
