Good job, OP. Definitely a bargain worthwhile for those local to that BP

  • P.S. there may have been other stuff discounted, I only had time for a quick pitstop.

  • Oh come on! No discount on Dare? You bastards.

So… down to supermarket prices then?

You can get cold cans of coke for under $1 at the supermarket?

      • They can have room temperature dollar cans or the smaller cans for as low as $1.20.
Not a bad deal but not great either.

I wonder if this has to do with the David Jones partnership
    https://www.afr.com/companies/retail/david-jones-opens-first…

    • I'd say you're correct. There's a food section in David Jones in Eastland 3km away …

DJs would do better marketing itself as a premium brand to genx/millenials if the rest of its store sold premium products instead of fake private labels and made for outlet trash.

        Food won't help them.

Just try not to get stabbed

    • It's a servo, not the train station!

        It’s Ringwood….

        • +2

It's Ringwood - not Dandenong, Reservoir, Broadmeadows, Thomastown, Springvale, Fountain Gate, Pakenham, Noble Park… I could go on!

    Do they stock eneloops?

  • Sigh, I got excited because I thought it said BP Richmond.

    • I made that mistake with an EB store re-opening sale.

I wonder what's the markup in a servo? Is it about 75%?

Nevertheless good find for locals and others passing by good ol ringwood, thanks OP!

  • Comparable to supermarket prices at all?

    • I have to admit I don't pick up too many drinks from the drinks aisle so not sure at all. But the few times I've had to do a late night buy at a servo on the way home from the third shift (pay is fantastic when they are desperate for temp staff) for a milk or bread run for the kids I found it wasn't a complete gouge. Probably closer to 2-2.5x the non discounted price to most supermarket items.

So I guess in reverse 75% gets you to probably in all likelihood very slightly cheaper prices than the average drink at the supermarket if not about the same.
