Hisense, TCL and Samsung have an alliance to use Samsung's trademarked 'QLED' name for its panel. I don't think Samsung would have let them use it unless they were using Samsung panels. So I would assume the Hisense and TCL use the same QLED panel found in entry level Samsung QLED TVs.
Where the price difference between the brands would come from is the components each manufacturer uses to display the picture on the panel. The image processing and backlighting on Hisense and TCL won't be as good.
Next week Aldi has a 65" Ultra HD Android TV for $799 !!
TCL processor is not not as good as Samsung so expect some slow response time. compare to samsung

In the eBay description it says it has Quantum Dot Colour, as does the TCL one, are they the same as Samsung QLED?
Also price with PATRON20 is $1,316 with free delivery if you're able to collect from a store/ warehouse.
