Agreed, I'm getting better speed with Nord.
Don't know, speeds are fine from my end especially for the last two weeks or so, US Netflix really improved with buffering. Picked this with 80% CB from Cashrewards a month ago I think.

Filter the results to SurfShark. Everyone has a different approach and appetite to their privacy and security, so my concerns might not be the same as yours, everyone has to make their own assessment.
I didn't know Surfshark is based in the British Virgin Islands (outside the Eyes jurisdictions) … and prolly luckily not here
Unfortunately I purchased through the cash rewards promotion last month, this is a better deal.
But as for usage, I purchased surfshark while I was overseas for a month and was happy enough with the speeds for streaming a single stream while travelling, using servers in Australia, US, and Europe. It never buffered once.
I also got the Cashrewards deal. I am more concerned with getting access to geo-restricted streams and it seems to be good enough. at $6AUD/yr I'd say it's worth it for me. At ~$3.50AUD it's awesome.
Speeds are slow for this service.
Never get over 30Mbit which ever protocol or server I use from USA.
