Great, now we need some 10tb hdd deals…

  • +8

    Max discount at: 416.67 dollars.

  • Well hello there sailor! Great offer

  • damn, wanted to get Resident Evil 2 for $35 but noticed the price has gone up >:(

  • +1

I’m having issues with the app. Amazon doesn’t seem to load properly using it.

    • Try force closing the Amazon app before opening it via Shopback, usually works for me

  • +2

    When does this end ?

    • +2

Just got the email saying “today only”.

  • +4

That makes Death Stranding $56.13. Thanks OP.

    • +1

      Great callout/reminder! Cheers

  • Do I still get 12% cashback if I use amazon gift card to pay?
I got a gift card from previous price error

    • +4

Cashback is only payable on order value (excludes taxes, shipping and packaging costs) and is valid on orders paid for with gift cards (not orders with Amazon credit)

      • Thanks, looks like I am too tired and skipped the words in light grey…
        So what is Amazon credit?
        a redeemed gift card?

On the payment page, there are two sections regarding gift card, 1. Your available balance, and 2.Enter a gift card or promotional code

Is gift card balance Amazon credit?

        • +1

I have no idea sorry. I don't have a gift card to investigate with

        • +1

Amazon credit is like store credit that was credited to your account usually via refund or special occasions. Most of them are not visible until you go to checkout page, they usually auto applied to your order. (Look below the Order total, if there's some additional "discount" listed there)

Gift card balance is not Amazon credit

          • @Scythic: Amazon just gave me a $10 (I think) credit the other day. Everything I want to purchase from Amazon is 4x the price on AU than it is on US - and obviously Amazon US is a similar (lower) price to ebay. So much for my $10 credit. I contacted them about it and they added free shipping too… gee, thanks - now Amazon AU is only 3x the price.

        • Thank you both of you
Makes more sense to me now

    • +1

So I contacted SB for clarification

      Thanks for your message.
      Just referring to this screenshot
Top, gift card balance - yes for cashback.
Bottom, promotional balance (Amazon credit) - no for cashback.

      All green now :)

      • Nice

  • +2

    What to buy?

    • +8

Beeswax wraps, if your household is still using cling wrap!

    • +4

      Toilet paper.

  • With this cashback brings the Sony WH-1000XM3B down to $338.54. If anyone also happens to be travelling within 60 days, TRS refund brings the headphones down even lower to $304!

  • Anyone have experience on how fast shopback is on sending the $ through?

    • -1

      About 2 months.

      • +7

        I thought about 3 months?

    • 1-2 months

    • It says it can take up to 75 days for Amazon transactions, in the Shopback terms and conditions.

    • +1

Very slow. And they are very anal with their terms and conditions.

    • +2

I went through the $10 off chemistwarehouse deal recently, it never registered, opened a claim and only got 5%.

      • +4

They said itd register by the end kc October

      • They cancelled the offer without telling anyone. Wouldn't trust them in the future to honour anything.

        • oh shit, that drama was with shopback? Lucky I didn't buy anything yet.

  • This might have been asked before. Will it work for preorder games?

    • +3

I think pre orders (inc books) are ok as long as its delivery due date is within 60 days?

  • When does this end?

  • Can I order from Amazon us too ?

    • No

    • +4

If its through the amazon AU website / app setting, yes you can order stuff from amazon US and the cashback will apply.

      • Can you please explain how to do this? I want to buy the same item that is listed on both Amazon AU and US. But it's 4x the price on AU as US. When I try to buy the cheaper US one, it says it won't ship here. Very annoying, as I have a $10 credit AND a one-time free shipping too - both which must be used only on AU, grrr!

        • Yeh I've come across that before. On the AU website is the seller called BuyGlobal? Whenever I found something on the US site that wouldn't ship here, it was available on the AU site at a ridiculously high price from BuyGlobal. If that's the case, not much you can do unless you use a forward shipping company to buy it from Amazon.com and forward it onto you. I've never tried it, so I'm not sure of the costs involved are but it is a thing people do. Your $10 credit won't be able to be used though.

I've bought heaps of stuff from Amazon US through Amazon.com.au, where it will say "Ships from and sold by Amazon US." on the listing. These items are sold at a relatively fair exchange rate from the $USD prices that are listed on Amazon.com. Over time it has gotten a lot better with more items from Amazon US available on the AU website/app, and I haven't come across BuyGlobal in a while now.

          • @Shaun Prawn: Thanks. Yeah, I've seen that too (with the Amazon US items selling on AU that are close to the same price after exchange rate). But the others… Just, wow.

    • I find ordering from Amazon US is cheaper than from Amazon AUS with cashback.

      • HOW are some of you doing this!? Every time I try to buy something on US, it may show that it ships here - but when I go to checkout, it states they won't ship here and it might be available on Amazon AU (and if it is, it's 4x the price)!?

  • Multiple use?
$50 combined cap over multiple use?

    • +1

"You must click through ShopBack to Amazon Australia every time you make a new purchase."

Yes, look like there's no limit. But cap at $50 total until the deal expires

  • Stack this with XBOX One X 1TB Bundle with Division 2 + COD MW… brings price down to $425!

    • $413.60 actually, but I think I’ll still be waiting for Black Friday.

      • -1

        When is black friday?

        • +1

          November 29

      • +1

        Capped at $50

  • +1

I just placed an order this afternoon :(

    • +2

      Cancel and reorder?
If it hasn’t shipped you can easily cancel the item and place the order again.
I just changed over some of my game preorders - which I also had to do recently before this when they added the $5 preorder promo.

  • +2

Will this shopback deal work in conjunction with the $5 discount for pre-order games? Looking to get Pokemon sword or shield and wondering if the release of it conincides with both deals.

    • +3

Was discussed in the previous thread that both will work, so go for it!

      • Champion. Thanks for reposting this. The wording of exclusions reads as though it won't.

  • +2

Pandemic legacy seems to have dropped to $50.98 again if anyone like me missed out last time.

  • +1

Placed the preorder Pokemon last week. Should I cancel order and get this?

    • +3

      yes

    • You should. You lose nothing by doing so.

    • Yes. I just changed mine over too.

  • +1

Is this as good as it gets? Or have they offered better before? Considering a $640 purchase but feels like a lot is wasted on the capped cashback.

    • +8

      Buy now

    • +6

      Yes

  • -1

    Can I use this with a pre-order?

    • +2

Pre-orders are eligible for Cashback provided the item is scheduled to be shipped within 60 days of purchase

  • +3

Perfect timing as I finally decided to pull the trigger on the Oculus Quest ^_^ Should do me over until the Valve Index (or better) becomes available in Australia

    • +1

      Same. Just bought

    • +1

Haha. The quest being wire free is an amazing experience itself you won’t miss having wires if you do eventually go onto the valve index.

      • It was not easy to make a decision as I do have a powerful PC. But I refused to buy the older generation and could not wait any longer for Valve.. The rift s just isn't enough of an upgrade to warrant having wires and the oculus link cable basically sold it to me because at least steam games will be available with it soon.. At the end of the day, I just want to punch virtual people in the face in creed and thrill of the fight :)

    • Exactly what I thought of when I saw this. Was going to wait for black Friday to see if Amazon did a deal, but I can't see it going lower than $580.

      • It was 10% off recently, but then with the standard 7% cashback is better than this 12%.

  • +1

    Water Wipes

  • Does anyone know if cashback apply to gift card purchases?

  • +2

Great. Reordered luigis mansion, now it's time to go find more games to buy

    • Also did this. It keeps getting cheaper and cheaper the closer we get to release.

    • Me too! I already had to update with the $5 promo thing - customer service wouldn’t add the promo for me and said to cancel and reorder.

  • Good price for Sword and Shield

  • +1

Can it be used with maccas monopoly voucher?

  • +1

I knew I would regret my purchases last night. Bugger.
As it hasn’t been processed yet, does anyone know if I cancel it do I get my credit back I applied to the purchase to reuse, or does that go bye bye?

    • +3

The credit goes back to your account

      • Excellent. Thanks!

        • +1

Just be careful of the terms, cash back doesn’t apply when you’re specifically redeeming Amazon credit, so you might want to pay another way and save your credit for another time!

  • +3

Looks like they have additional 20% off promotion on starbucks capsule for 6 or more:
    https://www.amazon.com.au/Starbucks-Nespresso-Single-Sumatra…

    t&c here:
    https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/promotions/details/popup/A1LMUE…

    • FYI good tip but I found their house blend super bitter compared to Nespresso

      • +1

Same they taste burnt, I guess like Starbucks?

  • Thanks OP

  • Dam was thinking this could make me buy the AU version of the special Game of thrones Collection [preorder] - but its still $499 (or $364 with this) .. but the US version is $249USD or about $365 wihthout any cashback.
