  • Same price on the Boost website. 60 cents off is not much of a saving…

If this deal includes the SIM card, you are technically saving 2.60… although it doesn't say it in the OP

      • eBay gift cards?

        • Easy 5% off if you know where to get them from!
$11.97 further savings if you can find discounted eBay GCs

          • @cwongtech: Im still holding onto 18.5% off eBay GC's

            • @ATangk: Unavailable for anyone else though.
5% seems to be the going market rate

Can claim cashback or Velocity/Qantas eStore points

60 cents off is a huge saving.

Prefer to get it from official channel. Who knows if the Sim from eBay is genuine and working!?

Via Boost site at least some sort of guarantee

Good luck dealing with eBay sellers

60c is not worth the risk.

Also if eBay seller can do the same price or lower makes you wonder how much they really worth.

If you believe PayPal is your lifesaver think again.

      • I bought this for 270$ from previous deal from the same seller. Came in registered mail and it's physically same to the one sold from boost.

  • Thanks OP! Got one.

  • It says activate before September 2021. Can I buy SIM card pack and activate mid December when my plan is expiring? Thanks

    • You can, but this is a starter kit. So not sure you can port the number within same network.

  • So can someone who understands these things please help me. I am currently on the Telstra network and would like to take up one of these 12 month Boost plans. Can someone give me the low down on what the pit falls will be here? Thanks for the assistance.

    • If you want to get this plan, port it to Vodafone or optus and then port it to Boost using this sim.

      • I suspected this would be the best way to do this.

      • I changed from Telstra postpaid to prepaid, then ported to Aldi, then ported today to Boost on this plan. Bit of a hiccup with the birthdays not being the same between Aldi and Boost when porting, but Boost online chat sorted it all (Aldi uses a YY/MM/DD format).

don't try and port telstra to boost direct for a special offer. It's a nightmare i'm in the midst of navigating.
they send you a blank sim then you can't get on the deal. they are being helpful to rectify but it's hard work and many help calls.

    • You can call boost and tell them you wish to port from Telstra. They will send you a special blank SIM for it. I'm not sure about this deal in particular but I ported about 2 or 3 months ago with the 80gb version from coles. Essentially the kit is a SIM and a recharge voucher. Once your blank SIM is activated you just apply the recharge code. I am not certain this is the same but I doubt it's any different. You may as well call them and ask. If it is the same, just order the blank SIM in the same call. It's way easier than porting in and out to a different provider.

Combine with https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/493092 for further discount if possible

    • IIRC Australia Post sends GC by camel train! ie they take ages to arrive!
      YMMV

Compared to Boost website, It is definitely cheaper for people who purchased discounted eBay GC.

  • 1% cashback App only via Shopback App.

  • That got done too quick.

  • Do they email a voucher or should we wait for the SIM on the mail?

    • Tricut sim comes in the mail. Signature required.

Thanks OP, got one. Hopefully additional 1% cashback via shopback tracks as well.

    • You can't use codes anymore with Shopback
