These are like $25 on ebay, delivered.

I mean, you can't say that without posting a link…

Literally the first item when you search the first 4 words of the title

        https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Camphor-Laurel-Chopping-Board-B4…

        • Fair enough. However it is more like $45 from the seller you mentioned if we look for an equivalent size

          • +3

@jlao6: Actually the $45 board from that seller is the same size as the medium board in this deal. So $84.50 for a medium + large shipped seems like decent value if you are in the market for these.

            • @donga100: Good point. Sorry I didn't realise 2 boards are being sold in this deal. This is definitely better value if you are after two boards.

        • A good option if you want to buy only one board. Free shipping too.

Interesting, product was made in Australia but will be shipped from Korea.

FFS, he's right. Love the Koreans, but this is some high level bullshittery right here.

Hi! How can we help you?

    • I have my doubts about that. It looks like the website was originally designed for sending food items from Korea and they have probably just been careless with copying text from one page to another.

      • Yes I agree. Under 'Shipping and Returns', it states 'The delivery will be from 18th June 2018', which suggests to me that the info listed under that section might be out of date

    Thumbnail looks like phone case

But Camphor Laure is quite a soft wood (a bit like pine) so I’m not sure how good of a chopping board it’ll be. Also it has that mothball smell.

  • 'unique in colour, grain and character': pretty much like any piece of wood.
