  • If we go to CW to pricematch, how many can we buy?

    • Show them the catalogue of the product and ask them to Price match it

      • So we can buy 10 bottles at the price matched price? Also, how do you know that CW will charge 80c? How is that worked out?

        • +1

Website mentions no limit and website mentions 10% off

@Jer204: "The price matching policy is limited to the retail limit applicable or a maximum quantity of three of each product."

There is a limit of 3

    • Don’t waste your time. They refused for me even after showing them Chemist Warehouse’s website where their policy is listed.

I can't believe there’s people that go chase deals for the sake of saving 20c lol

Chemist warehouse on George St(near Wynyard Sydney CBD) won’t let me price match

    • Why?

      • +2

Says not with that website. Just checked their policy, time to file a complaint then walk down the road to the next chemist warehouse

        • The one I went to in WA had a whole ball of excuses. I wasted 20 minutes there.

          • @stickyfingers: Show them the price match policy and then ask to speak to the manager if you have to

            • +2

@Jer204: I did. I've made a complaint to head office.

              • @stickyfingers: Please let us know how it goes
I would like get some but don't want to waste 20 mins, thanks

@TanedaR: Chemist Warehouse head office never replied to my email enquiry (made using the contact form on their website). They've definitely lost my business now.

                  • @stickyfingers: I think you should never go back to that store
I went to my local CW last Sat, bought 6 bottles, no issue at all
The cashier was more than happy to help
                    Perhaps try another store?

                    • @TanedaR: Nope it’s total bullshit.

Not only has corporate ignored my email but I just tried a different store (Innaloo, WA) after my first failed attempt at Bentley, WA.

The staff had no idea of their price beat policy and got the pharmacy manager who debated with me that they don’t match online prices (even though it’s not) and that I’d need to get her a physical catalogue or come back when the store I’m trying to match/beat against is open. Yet when I tried at Bentley the first time they did call the store and still came up with excuses.

Chemist Warehouse can eat it 😤.

I’m negging the deal because of the price beat in in the title. The Pharmacy4Less part is still good, but the Chemist Warehouse is bull crap.

@Jer204: It's usually the manager who can process the price match.

I don't get why they get so huffy, it's not them personally out of pocket.

            • @Jer204: This policy cannot be applied to products at the other company if they are:
              • - out of stock
              • - short dated
              • - on clearance or discontinued
              • - A part of a promotional offer e.g. buy one get one free

Geuss the deal counts as "on clearance"

            • @Jer204: Speak to a pharmacist in charge. My experience is they do price match but not give 10% difference.

  • Showing $5.39 for me on website when I click buy online.

Hi guys, good news. I was able to price match at CW Parramatta (202 to 214 Church St, Parramatta NSW 2150). No questions asked. Dont know how to upload the receipt. Thanks OP :)

  • I had no issues at my local CW store in Altona North, VIC. Purchased 6. Thanks for the post!

FUARK I didn't know they Price Beat by 10%… I've been asking for Pricematch each time.

    LOWEST PRICE GUARANTEE
"At Chemist Warehouse if you find a cheaper price on the same item at another Australian Registered Pharmacy or Australian Registered Retailer we will match it and give you 10% off the difference.

The price matching policy is limited to the retail limit applicable or a maximum quantity of three of each product.

    In Store:
If you would like to price match in store, please bring a catalogue from the other retailer containing valid proof of their price. The discount will take place during the time you purchase the product in store and our staff may choose to contact the competitor to verify their price before granting the price match.

    Online:
If you would like to price match online, please send us a direct link of the product on the competitors’ website it is being advertised on and your order number. Please note we require notification of your price match request within 24 hours of placing an order with us.

You will need to pay for your order in full, however after your price match has been approved you will receive a refund for the matched price.

    Exclusions:
Our price matching policy excludes international orders and offers that are exclusively online. This policy cannot be applied to products at the other company if they are:

    • - out of stock
    • - short dated
    • - on clearance or discontinued
    • - A part of a promotional offer e.g. buy one get one free

Chemist Warehouse reserves the right to deny any price matching claims if they do not meet the above criteria."

  • Some pharmacy 4 less stores are in Amex shop small map.

  • This ends up being even cheaper if you have a foaming dish soap dispenser. One of these bottles will last about three months adding 1/4 soap to 3/4 water. You know… because 89 cents isn't cheap enough.

    • few more calculations to make it feel cheaper
1/5 soap to 4/5 water = hand wash lastes 4 months
1/6 soap to 5/6 water = shower milk lasts 5 months
      1/7 soap to 6/7 water = ??

      • Actually the foaming dish soap is really useful. Super quick and convenient for washing one dish etc. Being cheaper and environmentally friendly are just extra bonuses.

Thanks for the well informed useful comment though.
