FREE WEEKEND tickets for Cake Bake & Sweets Sydney show 2019! Got it just now and pretty much all my friends got tickets for the weekend using the code.

Add the code and select any number of tickets for either Saturday or Sunday. Works like a charm!

        Very little. A few slithers of vegan doughnut (better than it sounds) and a tiny spoon of gelato. Most of the room was taken up by stages for celebrity tutorials (watch how to do this not actually do it).

        Only fruit in kids workshop, not really worth going. If you go, you will why tickets are free. Weekend market in your local area is more interesting, cos they have about 18-20 booths selling small cake decorating goods most people won’t be interested. The rest are food for purchase.

      It was shit last year too. I got a few packet cake mixes for free, thats about it. Its ok if your a professional cake maker and interested in purchasing things and watching demos I suppose.

      i dont really care about free stuff, but i enjoy cooking (ex chef) and baking. is this something i would enjoy? Are there new gadgets or things that have been invented in the last 10 years that i've missed exibited at the show? I'd be dragging kids along i guess.

        It would certainly be better suited to your interests. There were some stalls doing demos of new products (slicers, knife sharpeners etc). Standout for me was a Spanish plate device for grating garlic. Hard to describe but it was awesome.

    You can get unlimited tickets for each day… Friday, Saturday or Sunday… Or go to each of these days

      It does show Saturday & Sunday for Sydney but not for Melbourne.

    I attended yesterday after skipping three years (last visit was Homebush). Less stalls than previous with many unrelated to the cake, baking, sweet industry and better suited for the Good Food Show.

    You expect a few filler stalls but not 30-50% . Stalls selling eyelash extensions, cast iron cookware and the latest mastic chewing gum (has been around in the middle east for centuries) seemed out of place there.

    In saying that, I had the day off work and got free tickets so wasn't too disappointed. I got the baking supplies I went for (saving a massive 30 cents (3%) of each food colour!!!). I feel for those who paid full price, plan to drive in and park (its become expensive these days) and blocked out most of a weekend day to attend.

    Perhaps next time (if the organisers are on here) it gets moved to a cheaper place so you can charge less or even have the event free and focus on cake supplies. Where were Loyal, Chef Warehouse and all the other key cake making suppliers this year?

    Was 10 times better last year. Better stalls. Better workshops. Way more stalls.

    The showroom itself is smaller

    Was in and out in less than 15 mins

    Went today.. Friday… Lots of selling of baking supplies, educational sessions and many females…. Was in & out within 1 hour, lucky I had a free ticket.
