From an Android device:

  • Visit the Google Play Store and download & install the Apple Music App.
  • Open your mobile browser, navigate to cashrewards.com.au and log into your Cashrewards account.
  • Search for Apple Music and click the orange bar, or simply click here.
  • Click Shop Now and you will be redirected to this page.
  • If you see this instead, you're a return customer and not eligible.
  • Select Family, click Start Trial, and enter your Apple ID (if requested).
  • You're all done, and purchase should track within 24 hours (Apple is a little slower at tracking).

From an iPhone/iPad/iPod:

  • Open Settings/Safari and turn off Prevent Cross-Site Tracking.
  • Open Safari, navigate to cashrewards.com.au and log into your Cashrewards account.
  • Search for Apple Music and click the orange bar, or simply click here.
  • Click Shop Now and you will be redirected to 'open this page in Music' then this popup.
  • If you see this instead, you're a return customer and not eligible.
  • Select Family, click Start Trial, and enter your Apple ID (if requested).
  • You're all done, and purchase should track within 24 hours (Apple is a little slower at tracking).

From a desktop browser (requires iTunes install prior to clicking Cashrewards links):

  • If you haven't done so already, install and open iTunes.
  • Open your favourite browser and ensure all AdBlock is off (including Safari Cross-Site Tracking).
  • Navigate to cashrewards.com.au and log into your Cashrewards account.
  • Search for Apple Music and click the orange bar, or simply click here.
  • Click Shop Now and you will be redirected to open iTunes.
  • Select Try it now… and you will get this popup.
  • If you see this instead, you're a return customer and not eligible.
  • Select Family, click Start Trial, and enter your Apple ID (if requested).

Note: On desktop/laptop via any browser, click 'Shop Now' and open the iTunes program when prompted. On iPhone/iPad via mobile browser, click 'Shop Now' and open the Music App when prompted. Select your free 3-month trial plan of choice.

Cashback on Apple Music Trial is a one-off payment and for new subscribers only.

      The main reasons it wouldn't have tracked is if (1) a step/instruction was missed, (2) you had an AdBlocker on, (3) you previously availed of an offer with that Apple ID.

    I changed my Apple ID before signing up tho. It went through and am on a 3 months trial but not sure if I’ll be able to get cashback as I used my other Apple ID on previous deal

    I previously did a family trial using my Apple ID. Does anyone know if signing up again under a different ID that is in the family sharing pool will be eligible or ineligible to get the trial again.

    I signed up for the free trial family plan and found out that there is a pending $17.99 on my bank acc. I've checked through my subscription and it says free trial and the next billing date is 3 months from now. Is this standard or am I being charged during the trial period? Some kind of authorization hold?
