Yeah 10% gain if you are claiming back via work. The invoice for the trip is for the full amount (not the discounted gift card amount) after all.

Not sure if many people know this, but there is a (targeted) offer where you can get 20% back in credit with Amex when you use Paypal, which you can use to buy gift cards. You can get up to $40 back, which means that you can spend up to $200.
There is also another amex paypal offer, where if you spend $20 or more, you can get $5 Back, up to 2 times.
Catch`s EBITDA was 2.5% last year, yet giving 10% off in giftcards. Hows the business being substantial?

Thanks OP. By the way, I'm a noob to Uber gift cards - there was a clause on the card saying "no change will be given". Does this mean that if I use a $50 gift card for a $28 ride, the $22 balance will be forfeited?
No, the remaining balance is automatically held in your Uber account for future use.
Any idea why No change?
I suspect it just means no cash and you can’t use the unused credit from the one gift card with another account.
@jace88: That’s usually it. Stops you taking a $1 ride (for example), paying with the card and asking for the $49 change in cash.

Checkout chick said no, but YMMV considering you can by GCs with GCs at Coles.
I asked Target through online chat.
The recipient said yes.
Need to go to store for confirmation tmr.GC didn't work for me at Broadway today.
Also tried Afterpay for fun but also not permitted.

Just purchased $500 at target, but only the first one loaded, the next 3 i scratched the codes for didn't load their value. They're also in $25 denominations only.
