    • Thanks for this mate, I've added it to the post.

      • Good work

  • +2

It's either haven't started or almost nothing is included.

    • Yeah…I put something in my cart that doesn't seem to be in the exclusions…it's still normal price (more than an alternative store, but would be less if it actually had 15% off).

Probably for the best…I was trying to contain my spending until Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

EDIT: Oh right…7pm, not am. Gotcha. They don't seem to clearly express this on their site, and nor can I find the T&C's except from the link above.

      • +1

Even the T&C's are a little shoddy tbh, they misspelled November and extensions (and is valid from 7:00pm Monday November 11 to 24:00 Wednesday Novemebr 13. No extensaions will be given. )

  • +2

"Everything" has a particular meaning - it is being misused here

    • It would be very simple to qualify it by putting an 'almost' in front…or maybe 'not nearly'…'kind of sort of'…'perhaps not'?

That wouldn't look as good though.

    • To be fair from my eyeballing of the list it's the 11k lenses that aren't included.

  • Basically should be "Up to 15% off storewide" or "15% off some items"… exclusions for digidirect sales are getting worse.

  • So many exclusions……

  • Don't see any exclusions for Fuji… Fingers crossed some decent prices to couple with the cashback (and wife yelling at me?)

    • +2

I noticed the 15% off Fuji stuff yesterday and jumped on a couple of things immediately…eg. X-T3 for $1378.75 after cashback. That's gotta be cheapest ever.

      • I couldn't tell if it's 15% already - the numbers look like they might be. So it's a different sale? Was there an end date? Fat chance it'll be another 15% off those prices today hey? hah

The promotional pricing isn't on everything though, so I imagine they wouldn't stack the two promotions…

        • +1

Yeah - 15% already. The email I got this morning stated "Zip Frenzy promotion runs from 10/11/2019 to 12/11/2019 19:00 AEST."
So it started yesterday - on some things anyway.

          • -1

@Frank Murphy: Yeah…there's an additional sale with up to 50% off or something.

            • @Banj0: Not sure why I was negged for that, but I'm referring to this https://www.digidirect.com.au/specials

On the front page it's called: "Frenzied Super Savers up to 50% off". Some of that stuff is at 15% already…some 30%…bits and bobs at 50% etc etc It would explain why some stuff is already showing at 15% off.

Big question is…will all that stuff be discounted again? Ha…I think probably not, but it would be nice.

FujiFilm X100F is a good deal though…currently with $300 cash back for the black…makes it under $1200. I've seen them sell for close to that secondhand!

              • @Banj0: Yeah it's second hand price, but around Christmas last year with the sales and the cashback you could get it for this price. I find it strange with Fuji gear you often can buy new cheaper than second hand during cashbacks. I got my 18-55 for $216 in July and I've never seen it cheaper than $280 second hand lol

                • @bleeder: Yeah…what really makes me shake my head is when, occasionally, I see secondhand gear go for more than the regular street price!

Obviously not OzBargainers. :o) I guess some people only compare with RRP.

          • @Frank Murphy: Interesting - the terms above say that Zip Frenzy doesn't start till tonight/tomorrow

Zip Frenzy and Click Frenzy. November 12 & 13

This offer is made by digiDirect
            - and is valid from 7:00pm Monday November 11 to 24:00 Wednesday Novemebr 13. No extensaions will be given.

We'll just have to wait and see I guess!

      • Interesting, I have to admit I was somewhat confused by the way the price is displayed on their website, because they're showing a "before cashback" price, an "after cashback" price and a "promotional pricing" price - and so that promotional pricing is obviously before cashback…

You'd think it would be in their interest to show the X-T3 as $1378.75, like you say that's an amazing price. I'm going to jump on I think, can't pass it up in hopes of a better black friday deal.

        • I'm actually torn about that… Its good to see the price the item will cost, but it's a bit false to say that's how much you're going to pay (because you need to claim cashback and wait for the refund).

I suppose as long as they clearly state that's after the cashback, they're not doing anything wrong. It's a bit of a downer to realise that's not the checkout price though!

          I don't see the X-T3 at sub-$1400 though - what am I missing?

          • @aragornelessar: it's listed at a promotional pricing of $1678.75 (15% off the regular price of $1975), minus $300 cashback from Fujifilm = $1378.75

            • @diamondd: Ah.. I was looking at the kit version!

Now I'm going to get into trouble… I'm on an XT-20 at the moment, but for that price…

          • @aragornelessar: I agree the ethics of whether or not to display it are kind of murky by the way, but some consistency or clarity would be nice.

      • Yup absolute bargain! Cheapest ever authorised dealer for sure!

        • EDIT: George's currently has it for $1408 after CB, but if you've got Amex, there's an offer to get $50 off over $500 spend. So brings it $20 cheaper at $1358!

  • +1

Some items on the website now is already on "promotional price". question is with this upcoming 15% off will they bump it back to before promotional price or extra 15% on top?

  • +1

    Well…that was a bit of a fizzer. What's 15% off?

    • Dodge job. Either they haven't updated their prices, or there's more exclusions than in the T&Cs. Seeing a lot of Fuji stuff that hasn't got 'promotional pricing' applied

  • Looks like they changed the dates of the T&Cs

Zip Frenzy and Click Frenzy. November 10 & 13

This offer is made by digiDirect
    - and is valid from 7:00am Sunday November 10 to 24:00 Wednesday Novemeber 13. No extensions will be given.\

And it still has typos in it!

  • Is there some trick to getting the 15% off? I am looking at a Sony compact camera which has a list price of $568, and a promotional price of $553.80. Definitely not excluded, but nowhere near 15% off.

  • Looks like the 15% has just kicked in on something I was looking at earlier.

    • Yep, now showing on the camera I was looking at.

  • They still may have their Black Friday sale on later in the month as well, usually happens around the 20th/21st Nov.

  • Doesn't sound very "Storewide" to me …

  • 1,100 for the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 for the sony e-mount with store pickup is the cheapest I've seen around, (georges is 1132, camerapro is 1099 but add 10 for delivery)
