Better deal than JB Hifi if you have the Microsoft $100 off $500 offer

I'd recommend this as the best value SP7 - 8GB is enough for most and can always add a microSD card

128GB.. My phone comes with more storage. The very first Surface 1 in 2012 came with 128 GB Hard Drive, 4 GB RAM

This 128GB & 4Gbs in late 2019 is a complete up sell ploy.. 128gb vs 256gb SSD's are like $20 difference. You need to spend $625 extra to get the cheapest 256GB model.

Also MS doesn't give you Windows 10 "PRO" anymore starting from the Surface pro 6 unless you purchase the highest end business surface

Not even the $2800 dollar surface Pro 7 Platinum intel i7 comes with windows 10 Pro .. its still windows HOME :) WOW

Surface Pro 5 and older models all used to come with Windows 8 or 10 Pro

  • Also free returns till 31/01/20!

    • How "new" does it have to be to return it?

    • They also said this means if the price drops at Microsoft they'll refund (or store credit?) the difference up until 31/01/2020

Perfect for Black Friday/Boxing Day sale price drops

  • You can upgrade the Surface Pro 7 SSD?

    • +1

No, none of the Surface's have ever had good serviceability.

    • Fixed.

Answer is nope - but you can upgrade the SSD on the surface laptop 3 and the surface pro X

    • As above, no but you can use a SD card though, not the ideal thing I know but a 512GB Sandisk Extreme with 160/90 should be good enough for most tasks.

Just picked up one for $1074 using 2x Amex cards at Microsoft store Sydney

  • How did it reduce in price? Still showing 1290 for me.

    • Fixed - it's $1274 in store but for some reason the 15% off isn't calculating correct online

      • bummer…no store in brisbane

      • +1

online updated to 1274 as well

  • Does the education discount stack on top of this price?

    • Nice.

Hope they have another deal for Black Friday but im not optimistic think it might just be the bundle they have now >.< I couldn't decide between this or pro-x, after thinking about it more think I'll need the SP7.
