Free Access to JB Hi-Fi Corporate Discount Portal

1210

Hey Guys

First time poster!

I did a quick google search for ‘jb commercial’ and noted that if you click on the ‘family and friends’ sublink from under the JB HiFi solutions search result, you get automatic access into the corporate discount portal - seems like it’s using the ‘emergency memberlink’ corporate account.

I have linked the URL to this post.

The JB corporate portal displays discounted prices for various products normally sold at JB. Discounted price varies on product, profit margin ect.

It’s obviously an technical glitch so get in and get your discounted JB electronics before they close the glitch!

    • thats what i was looking straight for as well. See how the order goes.

      • I placed an order, giving it a shot! If it's successfully processed, I'll be quite happy, but if it's not honoured, I'm not fussed, I'll just need to patiently wait for something else to come up.

        • yeah same here.
          Ordered - got confirmation email.
"IMPORTANT: Please await confirmation from our office before heading to the store.
Your Order has been sent to our queue for processing."

          Fingers crossed.

          • +1

@swampson: I received a confirmation message straight after the order, but I haven't received an email or a text yet. If there are any updates, I'll post them on here! Hope your purchase gets honoured, mate!

            • +2

@Zenyth: Awesome! Just got this email :

"Whilst JB Hi-Fi Solutions understands that these portal details were shared on OzBargain, the business has decided to proceed with your order.

This order has now been submitted to your store"

Respect to JB for bothering to honour this. Most would have cancelled the order.

              • +2

@swampson: Hey, I'm glad to say that I got the same email! Apparently they've cancelled orders conducted in a similar nature in the past, so I'm pleasantly surprised to see that they honoured it.

Perhaps it was because only a small quantity of orders made? Anyhow, this mouse should hopefully serve me well over the years.

                • @Zenyth: What time did your order go through?

I haven’t received this email yet and my confirmation email was at 6.30pm

                  • +1

@zzzman: I received my order confirmation email within seconds of order placed, so this is timestamped at 6:24pm AEDT.

                    • @swampson: So we ordered minutes apart but I’m still waiting for them to confirm that they’re honouring my order :/

                  • @zzzman: Hey mate, my order confirmation email came through at 6:27 pm and the subsequent email that swampson also received arrived in my inbox at 7:26 am today.

                    • +1

@Zenyth: I never got the email mentioning OzB all day.

I called JB solutions in the arvo and they said the store I chose did not have stock, even though it was showing differently last night.

They ended up asking another store in Sydney City to fulfil my order and I picked it up after work. A bit of fluffing around but I'm glad JB honoured the sale.

  • Looks like they have fixed it

  • Yep ozbed. Op virtually killed it, hope he got something for himself..

    • +52

I actually didn’t as I didn’t need anything, though wanted to spread the ozbargain love. :)

Hope some of you peeps that joined in early got something.

      • +5

"I actually didn’t as I didn’t need anything" - that is not the ozbargain spirit 😜

        • i know right, though I have bought everything I needed recently, plus unfortunately my wallet says no lol :(

      • +1

        Loveyoumore! 😄

        • Awww thanks @nitrous. 😝
Hope you ended up getting something through the deal.

  • no discount on mavic air and no discount on iphone 11 pro max 512gb

  • +4

Which associations give you free access to JB Commercial?

    • Police

      • That's fair enough. Emergency workers are usually well looked after.

    • I get access from the mine site I work at.

    • I think the new Veterans Discount scheme from APOD gets you access, probably one of the few discounts in the thing worth looking at.

  • +1

Update: 6:12pm - Was able to still use link to login from another device so they haven’t blocked it yet (was just slow).

  • No discounts on sony xm3

  • Can't see anything good :/

  • +6

    Logged in. Nothing good anyway.

  • Yeah, seems like a huge range

  • -3

Please don't abuse it.. let it last

    • +1

      Already fixed.

From what we've seen previously, JB Hi-fi would just not honor it and cancel the orders anyway.

      • Yep will be like the Qantas Store employee discount code debacle with mass cancellations

        • +4

JB Hi-fi did exactly the same on a minor pricing error recently too. Cancelled all online orders of it

  • The link itself wouldn't be a glitch, though linking to it directly is an issue. I work for a not for profit and we have a link that automatically signs in under our business name.

    • It’s definitely an error on JB’s/Googles behalf as when you click the google search result, it should lead you to a login landing page, and not a random corporate account holders page,

  • +1

    New Airpods… $349.56!!

  • Very average prices - surprised it's not cheaper like GG commercial considering they're basically the same now.

  • +1

They've fixed the glitch. Need a proper login to sign-in.

  • greeted with signin page asking for login as of 626pm

  • +1

Got in. Made an order, but don't expect it to be honoured tbh

  • +2

Yup it’s been blocked. Congrats to those that managed to get something :)

  • purchased the airpods pro for $349.56, received confirmation email after using the direct link someone posted above.

Put through an order just now and got email confirmation that order is processing.

    AirPods Pro.

Will it be honoured is the big question.

    • Same. Keep us updated.

  • thanks OP, jaybird vistas for $216, best i have seen

    • Any chance you can send me the receipt so I can price match in store? Worth a try

  • unreal how much the normal walk in consumer gets ripped off.

  • Not the first time this has happened

    www.ozbargain.com.au/node/210495/amp

    • I wonder if JB honoured those purchases before the link expired.

  • interesting comparing some prices of airpods between jb and gg commercial

pro $ 349.56 at JB not available GG

with wireless charging case $319 JB and $263 GG

charging case $229 JB and $205 GG

Pro might be cheaper once it hits GG commercial

  • +18

If they fixed a glitch within 42 minutes of it being posted here, someone there must be an ozbargainer.

Someone here walks amongst us, but he is not one of us.

    • +1

Just like wolf In sheep skin

    • +5

All JB/TGGs (remember it is now the same company) needs to do is subscribe to JB alerts on Ozbargain.

… or notice a sudden surge in hundreds of orders within minutes worth thousands

    • Will existing orders be honoured?

      • +1

        Just got this
"Whilst JB Hi-Fi Solutions understands that these portal details were shared on OzBargain, the business has decided to proceed with your order.

This order has now been submitted to your store"

  • Yeah it's no longer working? I get redirected to the login page

    • +1

      Expired tag….

      • Glitch has been fixed. Has been marked as expired.

  • +3

Got to the order confirmation part. Got a Samsung active 2 watch for $456 and plan to claim the galaxy buds afterwards, then TRS!

    • Is the serial number printed on the box or do you need to open the box to obtain the serial number in order to lodge a claim?

      • I am not sure.

  • +2

Oooof. Corsair Virtuoso for $271 ($349) RRP. If it was black i would have jumped the gun and bought it

    • I can't even find that on the regular JB Hifi site!

  • -1

It's asking for organization code and password

    • +2

Have you read the last 10 or so comments before you posted? Or the fact it says EXPIRED in big red at top of deal?

      • +3

People here don't read…. Yet I'll be negged for saying it

      • -2

Of course I did. I'm just stating that it's asking for code and tagged it as inactive. Why do you need to be an online bully?
