Looking to use my bonus $2 and $5 bonuses from Shopback, came across this. Seems a good price even before ShopBack discount and current ClickFrenzy bonuses, and an excellent price if u do!

Apologies, no time to amend/edit/discuss, am really time poor right now but thought I’d quickly share since OzB has helped fill my house with weird and wonderful things :)

    Its-a-me, Hario.

  • I've got one, drinking the coffee it made right now. Easy to use, easy to clean and fits well in the fridge.

    Similar one at Kmart $12

About to say the same, Kmart

I have a few cold brew pots/jars and I can highly recommend the Kmart one. The value for the price is fantastic and it does a great job!

      • Is it easy to clean after use?

  • ah I just bought one today off alternative brewing for $29 + post

  • The Hario mesh filter doesn't stain after use…unlike the more expensive T2 alternative.

  • I bought one in the last deal and am very happy with it.

  • Hario makes good stuff, have their mill, thinking to get V60

  • What is wrong with just a simple plunger?

    • For cold brew?

      • Yup.

    • It works, I used to do that. Put coffee in a plunger with cold water and leave it in the fridge overnight then plunge/filter it the next morning.

      • So what is the point of this hario thing then.

        • Maybe its a case of if you need to ask then it's not for you? "Why buy a lexus when a yaris gets you to work and back just fine" kind of question? They do the same thing but different?

For me my plunger was pretty small and only made one, maybe two cups of cold brew. The hario makes 5 or 6 cups (I like to add milk). hario also filtered better compared to my plunger.

          • @Obake: I see I see. I saw the video, it seems the Hario is easy to clean also.
But my wife would kill me if I buy this.

  • Had it about a week now, used 4 times, it works really well. Great for summer, have brought it to work in the thermos to pep me up thru the day.
