Brilliant smart devices should work fine with Google assistant.
Bulbs are 29 each and plug 19.50 at Kmart meaning that the mini only costs you 21.50. Obviously only if you were planning on getting the lights and plugs at full price anyway.

If you don't need the mini.. then the Arlec kit with 2x smart bulbs and 2x smart plugs are better value at $49. Available everyday at the big green home supplies retailer.
Not sure if this is a bargain as its only genio branded lights and plugs

They've been superseded.
The new Google Nest Mini has a much better speaker.
