  • Been waiting for my port in since the 1st of October. MAKE sure if you are porting from a telstra sim to port the number to another carrier service first and then port to BOOST. If you are like me, which did not do this and been waiting for so long, call the porting team 1800 631 334 cos chances are they canceled your porting request after a month of waiting - had to pry this information out of them before they finally said this (after 1 and half months calling and emailing them every other day). WORST customer service ever, they just repeat some script every time you call.

    • Able to port from Telstra Pre-paid in 20 Min.

    • I ported from Aldi to boost in 30 min I think it was

      • well I also ported from Aldi pre paid and been waiting since the 1st of October. Its just that sometimes porting from a telstra service to another telstra service can get complicated. I called them recently the call wait time has drastically improved since about 4 weeks ago and they told me that they have already fixed most of the problematic numbers now and yet mine has not… Usually I had to wait 2/4 hrs to actually talk to a porting service guy and now they seem to answer at a reasonable time rate 5-10 mins.

    • Did you order the special blank boost Sim by calling them? They will post to you via courier.

$2 pack takes forever to port.

      • I bought a blank 2$ sim from coles

      • lmao what a joke, been in contact with the normal call center, the porting team and the telstra complaint team and they all did absolutely nothing except waste my time!

  • Anyone used their boost sim to hotspot to their laptop on the train?
If so, are the speeds usable for chrome with maximum 2-3 tabs open and general browsing?

  • I currently have this $150 package. My 1200 standard mins & text to 30 selected destinations is over and still have 6 months left and have enough data remaining.

Belong provides data gifting in their package similar if Boost had allowed minutes gifting it would have been nice.

Is there any way to pay and buy extra minutes for the 30 selected destinations on top of the 1200 minutes provided?

  • So is the voucher code stackable? I still have 40gbs left on my Boost, will this add 80gb on top or will I forfeit what I have?

    • Heard you can stack this voucher x 2 if you speak to someone online support chat

    • +1

Nope, you’ll forfeit what you have as soon as you recharge.

  • Asking for a friend. How is this better than Belong? Currently at OW can get $40 Sim for $20.
With referral, that's $20 for 62gb and 3 months of service. Add $90 for next 9 month, which adds additional 9gb.
That's $110 spent over 12months with 71gb of data. Less spent if you refer people

    • +3

Boost has a normal voicemail service instead of the talk to text that Belong uses and also international calls to some countries are included if either of those matter to your friend.

      • Thanks, I didn't realise they didn't have proper voicemail service. I didn't realise they do offer call forwarding thougg, although I haven't figured it out yet.
Only drawback I was really aware is no roaming. Which sucks if you're overseas and need 2FA.

      • You can switch to Talk to Text though…

    • The Belong $20 deal gives you 3 month of service? I thought it was only 1 month.

  • this is now in the latest online catalogue. It is available from wednesday 20th to tuesday 26th november

  • Are Coles e gift cards okay as a payment method for this?

    • Yes.

  • +1

I just picked up two at the self service checkout.
Listed in the mobile recharge as a "$150" recharge, but price comes up as $35 when you select it.
Does not require taking a sim card.

Now hoping a better deal doesn't come up in the 3 months before my current charge runs out!

    • +2

      $35,

      You should have bought 20

      • At least I can stop worrying about a better deal coming up.

  • Im now on Kogan , and i want to use this offer should i port from Kogan to Boost ?

  • Hi just went online and it is out of stock since yesterday ($150). Any idea when it would be back? I would have bought from Coles but yesterday at Macquarie their network was down. Anyone has had any update about Coles activation system back online today?

    • Bought from Coles yesterday, it took the staff a few minutes to find me a $2 starter pack but then it was super quick to get the digital $150 recharge for $135.

  • Does anyone know if this qualifies one of 4 week purchase offer for 10000 bonus points at Coles?

    • +1

      it does

  • SO if I'm on Lebara currently. I just need to grab this deal. Put the $2 sim in and port over to Boost. Then once ported, apply the recharge voucher to the account?

    • +1
      1. grab the deal
      2. live chat boost mobile (or website self service) and go through activating sim procedure (with "retain mobile number" option if wanna keep number).
      3. ONLY then when all ok and your service drops off on current lebara sim…turn off mobile, put in boost sim, turn on mobile and apply recharge voucher
      • Perfect, thanks!

      • My $2 Boost starter pack says (fine print) that a recharge voucher is required to activate the sim. You’re suggesting that you can actually hold off on the recharge until after the port?

        • +1

yes, that's exactly what I did

  • Could someone tell me what is the expiry date on the voucher?

    • April 2021

    • July 2021

  • Just wondering with the recharge voucher, are you locked onto the 1 year 80gb plan when you enter the voucher code or do you get $150 recharge credit and you can use the credit anyway you want?

    • You get the $150 plan entitlements, not $150 credit.

  • My existing boost sim is expiring in 4 months but running out of data soon.
If I recharge with this, will it top up the data?
Also will it extend the sim expiry to another 12 months from the recharge date or the current sim expiry date?

    • It should give you another 80GB for 12 months, so should extend it. Can anyone confirm they have recharged their current Boost service?

  • Anyone know if this deal still runs? Current 6 month ends 9 dec….

  • Alright, so here's some useful info that I gathered via chat with Boost:

    • If you add another recharge voucher while the current voucher is still valid, you lose the unused days. Duration of the plans doesn't stack up with vouchers.

    • The number remains active (for incoming calls and sms) for 6 months after expiry of the plan. You can recharge at any time within this period. However, it's best to recharge a day before the plan expires as the unused data rolls over in that case. Once the plan has expired, you lose the unused data.
