Yes, it's inbound from the US only. They're also flying in from London for 100 pound each way.
This is also a duplicate of a previous post on which I note this rep had a comment unpublished for rep code of conduct violations.

So using that logic a heap of deals posted on here shouldn't be allowed like all the eBay limited quantity sales, the Amazon and Catch limited time and quantity specials etc etc etc
At least with those their website doesn't crash the moment the sale begins :P

So the whole world can benefit from Qantas turning 100 except the people that support it everyday!

Genuine question - how does this qualify to go on Ozbargain? Does this mean that any great return deal (to Aus) from any city in the world, can be posted here?
If there's a way to access the return leg only, ignoring that first leg… AND the total fee is less than a one-way trip -then I'm all for it!
Am I missing something?
as far as i know, no. You need to board the first flight to be able to board the return flight.
Great point indeed.
Qatar which has the world's best business class does amazing Europe to Australia deals but that never comes up on OzBargain.
Brisbane, like it or not, is still part of Oz, and therefore OzBargain
Brisbane is the DESTINATION, not the origin. You have to get to the USA to go to Brisbane to use this bargain. It's not a deal.

Sweet, so I can either fly into San Fran and step over human shit on the footpath or instead head to Chicago and try not to get shot before collecting my baggage.

Is Chicago really that bad? I know the homeless problem in San Francisco CBD is out of control…

This isn't a bargain, it's a Qantas crap shoot .. and I do mean crap .. :-( .. !! Don't waste our time …and while I'm at it, do you know of a more unusable, less reliable site than Qantas?? Embarrassing ….
So this is only from US to Aus, not the other way around? :(
Is that morning or afternoon?
