David Jones are running a promotion when you spend $150 or more in store and pay with Afterpay you will receive a bonus $25 David Jones gift card. Essentially giving you up to 16% bonus if your order is $150.

As this is just a payment option it would stack with any other promotions, discounts currently available.

    How so. There was no credit enquiries done on my file when I joined. It would only effect it if you don’t pay it.

      From what i read it's only if you have an outstanding amount when applying for credit, but that's the same for any debt, also if you have any defaults.

      It MAY impact is the key bit here. Banks may take a negative view on paying via this method. The thinking being (fairly or unfairly) that you can not afford to buy it out right therefore may lend less on this basis. YMMV

    It impacted my home loan, in the way that I had to provide screenshots of AfterPay and ZipPay statements. However considering they have low limits they shouldnt affect your loan. And yes it was approved in the end

  I would prefer the discount be applied to the purchase, but no doubt it is AfterPay providing the gift card, not DJ.

      weird, because i bought a suit jacket back in August this year, asked if they did afterpay in-store only to be told by the haughty saleswoman that they didn't. she then asked — almost sarcastically — if i wanted to apply for their store card.
