    3000mhz @ CL 16-18-18-38

usually 3000mhz performance kits are CL 15

but still, a new low price for 3000mhz

can try OC / tighten it down to CL 15

    • Should be no problem getting them down to 15 me thinks. Don't expect a huge difference though. I got a pair of Corisair PRO RGB's down from 16 to 15, but gains where minimal. YMMV

  • Got a pair of 3000mhz thx, gonna be perfect for my 2nd esport only pc

  • Jeez, wasn't 16gb DDR4 like $220 not too long ago? People who paid that must be spewing!

what u get when pc breaks at the most inappropriate moment. better than what happened to me during uni, broke the night before my 40% assignment was due.

      • -1

What does that have to do with my comment?

        • +1

i think most people who bought had a broken pc? all the review sites were telling people to wait for ram to drop.

          • +1

@Gerry H: I doubt it. You pay whatever it costs at the time. If you need ram to build a new pc, you can't exactly wait 6 months can you…

          • +1

@Gerry H: I know for sure I would have waited. PC died right in the middle of it, paid 250 for ram, same stick is 120 today.

    im using cosair4x8g 2400mhz c12 ram. overclocked to 3600mhz easily using 16-16-16-36

  • Damn I'm pretty sure I paid around 160 for these last year

  • I've noticed the Team Delta RAM has been quite a bit cheaper than G-Skill, Corsair etc.

    I've been eyeing the 3200MHz 32GB Kit (2x16) and I've seen it for $209 at M/Wave and PCCG(Now back to $259)

What about the Team Boy George ones?

  • Where can i get ddr3 at this price?

  • Is this a good brand/quality?

    • Don't think it really matters with ram?

      • I thought the chips a particular brand uses determine the quality?

  • Was tempted to get this but might see if theres specials on 3600 cl16 ram. They've reduced everything else

I paid $123 on an ebay sale for these when the r7 3700x came out. They work well on it. :) very pretty looking also.

    2133mhz ram vs 3600mhz ram using a RX580 and a 3700x gives you 1% improvement

If you use a RTX 2080Ti you will see a 8% improvement in FPS on r7 3700x with ddr4 3600

Anyone with anything slower then a RTX 2060 shouldn't care about ram speed too much.

    • 3600 at what timing ?

Anyone with anything slower then a RTX 2060 shouldn't care about ram speed too much.

      don't forget apu - 2200g/2400g/3200g/3400g

      • Even a single stick of 8gb ddr4 2133mhz and a gt1030 GDDR5 is better then any APU with 2x 8gb ddr4 3200.. same price

        • true, but that's not my point

there are plenty of ppl building 2200g build for whatever reasons

and they can either go for 2133mhz kit or this $84 3000mhz kit of same capacity… for how much more? $10?

no brainer to spend that $10 for 3000mhz kit on apu build

and your 1% difference between 2133 vs 3600 , at what timing again ?

          • @dcep: most of the youtube videos and online reviews i read had lowest Default timings for each speed.

            I think 2133 was CL14 and 3600 was CL16

Hardware unboxed i think got some huge gains from tweaking timings but when i tried it my computer it wouldn't boot.. I think my ram max out at XMP :) i guess I'm lucky cause some people cant even get XMP to work on their DDR4

Anyways.. going from 2133 to 3600 is worth it i guess but not sure the gains are going to be much going from 3000 to 3600

    • My friend got a 50% (in some games) improvement going from 2133mHz to 3200mHz. He has a 2080 and 2600.

But it doesn't really matter when you go from 150fps to 200+

      • In going by youtube reviews :) and online sites testing ram speeds with zen2 CPUs average.

  • I have a 5 yr old PC with 8GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM (i5-4460 and GTX 970). Would I get much benefit from this? Is it overkill? Better off getting an SSD (or both, lol)? Still runs games great, just occasional stuttering/long load times.

    • DDR4 won't fit in DDR3 slots

    • This is dd4, not ddr3. Get an SSD if load times are a problem, you will notice a huge speed increase in general PC use. For games, it will only make load times faster, which is nice, but it generally won't give you higher frame rate

    • with the guys above SSD's are cheap take advantage and get a decent speed bump (not so much in games but general pc use). as others point out DDR4 wont work on DDR3 Motherbaords

  • I jumped on their 2400MHz C16 1x16GB stick, $71 https://www.centrecom.com.au/team-elite-16gb-1x-16gb-ddr4-24…
Works out to 32GB for $142, that's crazy cheap. Apparently these are OC'able too - not that it really matters for me, I'm running Skylake which yields up to 2.5fps difference between 2133 and 3000…

  • why is this 3000? thought it goes 2133 then 3200 for multipliers?

is there only one type of DDR4?

    • 2133 , 2400 , 2666 , 2933/3000 , 3200, 3466, 3600

  • Clicked on this without reading full title, thinking it's a Voice rehearsal promo. Disappointed ; )

  • https://www.asus.com/campaign/aura/us/Partners-and-promotion… May work with Aura Sync (seems it's the same as TeamGroup Delta RGB? No clue why there's so many names for this RAM)

  • Just bought 2x16GB sodimm DDR4 2666mhz delivered for $143.70 (incl Paypal surcharge)
    https://www.centrecom.com.au/team-elite-16gb-1-x-16-ddr4-266…
    Best price I've seen

Are they moved the price up?

  • WELL ALL PRICES HAVE JUST GONE UP 10 to 20%

for whoever got in early nice work.
