FTP. With Black Friday approaching, I was browsing to find good deals on Laptops and came across this.

Original Price without shipping and GST - $4344. Good price for a workstation IMO.

      RRP is overpriced.

      It's a mobile workstation with a Xeon CPU and Quadro GPU. Not cost-effective for gaming.

    Just be aware that this is a rather ancient E3 v5 4c/8t CPU from 2015. Unless you really want to run apps that are optimised for Quadro GPU, don't get this. Even then, there are better options really.

    Core i7 CPUs are "optimized for speed" while Xeon CPUs are "optimized for reliability".
    Is this because the Xeon used ECC RAM?
