Happy Black Friday! To kick off the sales, we're offering a $5 bonus when you spend $5 or more on eBay Australia via ShopBack. Please pay close attention to the T&Cs and note that the use of any coupon codes on eBay will void your eligibility for the regular 1% cashback, but you would still be eligible for the $5 bonus.

Note: The $5 cashback bonus will be credited into your ShopBack account by 31st December. It is on top of the usual 1% cashback that would automatically track to your account a few days after purchase.

Terms and Conditions:

  • To qualify for the $5 Cashback Bonus, you must make any purchase (AU $5 minimum spend after discounts, excluding shipping & GST) from eBay Australia (eBay.com.au) through ShopBack between 12:00AM and 11:59PM AEDT (inclusive) on 29 November.
  • Limited to one bonus per customer.
  • The $5 cashback bonus is in addition to the usual cashback you receive on eBay Australia purchases.
  • The $5 cashback bonus will not appear in your account after a few days. The bonus will be credited separately into your ShopBack account by 31 December 2019.
  • Offer is not applicable to purchases on eBay USA (eBay.com).
  • Purchases of items excluded from cashback (for example gift cards, charity and non-profit items, eBay Plus membership, Cars, Bikes, Boats, Coins, Real Estate, Services, Tickets, Travel) do not qualify you for the bonus.

  • Returned, exchanged and cancelled orders will void your eligibility for the bonus.
  • ShopBack reserves the right to dishonour bonuses for members who have participated in this offer in a fraudulent manner (ie. using multiple accounts). Such members may be banned and any cashback on their accounts forfeited.
  • ShopBack reserves the right to terminate this offer early without prior notice.

    I just received my tracking for my eBay purchase from 29th at 1:25am.. So tracking took close to 4 days. Guess just have to be patient with tracking for eBay purchases.

    However, I'm concerned that the tracking amount is for just $0.20 (which just one of the two items I bought in one transaction). I purchased two items in one go from two vendors, the total of which over $5. But if only one of the two items is tracked then the purchase won't meet the requirements for this $5 cashback… Do I need to contact Shopback Support about this issue?

      Do you mean the cashback amount is $0.20? If so, it is tracking a total purchase in the vicinity of $20.
      Does that tally with the total of your two transactions? In any case, this would have met the spend requirements for the $5 cashback.

        Sorry I made typo. Shopback tracking only shows $0.02. My two eBay items were $2.49 and $2.56 excl GST.

          I see. If you have not used any coupons, I suppose the best is to contact SB support to be sure.

          BTW did you use a coupon? I did in one transaction, expecting no regular cashback or tracking email. But I still got one, with $0.02 cashback.

              Both item tracked at $0.0X.

    i have one $5 tracking and another for $2. one shows up as 'ebay bonus' the other as 'ozbargain bonus'

    My purchase on Black Friday via Shopback wasn't tracked so I wasn't paid the $5 bonus for it yesterday, can't even submit a report because the 30 day deadline has passed. I was paid the $5 bonus for the purchase I made on Cyber Monday though. Arghs, I wished I checked and reported the missing tracking in early Dec for the Black Fri purchase! My Shopback click history shows I clicked on the ebay store around the time I put through my order.

        I sent them a copy of my ebay purchase invoice, they got back to me to say that although I've missed the 30 day deadline, they will apply $5 to my account as a goodwill gesture, I'm so thankful for their help! What a great start to the new year!

          I also got the $5 credited as a goodwill gesture so that's a great result. They said it didn't track as I used a coupon but the original terms above say coupons void the 1% cashback but will still be eligible for the $5.
