  • Just signed up online about 20 minutes ago and I'm already connected. Talk about efficiency!

  • Any idea how Superloop fares against Tangerine pleasE?

    • Switched from Tangerine on the weekend (100/20). Tangerine couldn't cope with 4K streaming in the evenings. Superloop seems to be. 90+ during the day, drops to 60s and 70s at night.

  • Can someone advise how the transfer works? I'm with AussieBB

I filled in the superloop form and said Aussie BB is my existing supplier. Does superloop handle all the transfer stuff, or do I need to call Aussie BB myself or something?

Does Aussie BB provide partial pro-rata refund?

edit: well then. got an sms saying it's now active in all of 10 minutes. Called aussie and they cancelled on their end

  • Can I take up this offer now and activate the service in a month or so?

    • +2

Yeah, SL allow you to set a date in advance for when they'll submit the order. Best to do it a couple of days before your next month rolls over with your previous RSP just in case something goes wrong.

  • I've had a pretty bad experience with SL been signed up for 14 days.

I'm a new HFC connection, getting 20-50 dropouts every day (SL can see this and acknowledge it). I've switched routers, and had a technician visit

Although I'm sure most will point the finger at NBN co.

Their call centre wait times are astonishing (minimum 1hr at any time of day), and they just dont seem to follow-up with any sort of comms. Its really really disheartening.

    • Where are you based if I may ask?

  • Thanks OP, signup was simple switched from AUSSIEBB and in 5minutes i was up and running, seamless and no problems with superloop nothings changed just got a faster speed and more GB for much less.

  • Not such a smooth procedure for me.

When I try to sign up I get to the last page where i'm supposed to get 6 check boxes to tick apparently but only get 4 so can't complete on-line sign-up.

Try to email sales rep while discussing problem over the phone and their server won't accept emails from me.

Too much trouble, think I'll have to give this one a miss :-(

  • Churned from AussieBB 50/20 plan to Superloop 100/20 plan on Sat 28 Dec.
[8.10pm] Email from Superloop: Your order has been received
[8.13pm] Email from Superloop: Your Connection is Ready to Use!
A speed test confirmed the churn was completed - in 3 minutes!

    • When did you cancel ABB?

      • After the churn was completed I called up ABB to close my account and provide a pro-rata refund for the last invoice I paid on the 27th - no issues.

  • -1

I 'need' (would like) this deal re-activated. I thought this was with fibremax for some reason (who I'm already with). I could have churned and got this deal after all. Otherwise I guess I'm heading to Belong.
