Great price. Any good deals on the made in Germany models?

This one is China in case anyone is wondering. There’s a few India models too in the range IIRC.

    • How do you know this one is made in China? Nothing's mentioned on their website.

because they don't make a big point about it being made in Germany

        • No German sticker!

Appliances online lists which country each model is made in under specifications.

  • Anyone know of any good deals on small front load washers? I just need something inexpensive that can do a few weekly washes for one person.

  • I currently like the Samsung washer I have - can do a full 7.5kg load on "Daily Wash" takes about 1 hour.

These Bosch units I've noticed do not have an equivalent cycle - it's either the full 'Cottons' or 'mixed' cycle which takes ages, but if you press 'speed save' button or whatever it is called, it only allows you do fill 50% or so of clothes.

    Annoying.

    • I've got the German model.
Only 1 hr with cottons 40 degrees with speed save enable and full load.
60 degrees goes up to 1:06

      • But don't the instructions say it's limited to 4kg or something if you use speed save??

        • Not on mine either. But all tumble washers suffer results if overloaded either with volume or weight (heavy clothing). The Bosch ones seem to handle weight well though.

I like most to use the timer so I can set it to use the longer eco-perfect cycles to get best results with less water, energy and detergent.
