Was just doing that. Looks like one of them is 100% peanuts.
500g peanut butter for $2.30 = 2kg for $9.20
or 2kg tub for $17.10… hrmmm
and what the heck is gluten free vegemite?

you are paying extra for the street rep of having a massive tub in your cupboard. Makes it look like you really like your peanut butter
same if you have 4 tubes in the cupboard, however you are saving on packaging which is very slightly better for the environment

The large 2kg peanut butter isn’t that much of a bargain compared to buying from Woolworths. The woolies 760g bottles are $16.66 for 2kg while the amazon big tub is $17 for 2kgs or $15.40 for a sub and save.

Been ages since I've had vegemite, ordered 2 and some peanut butter :)
Also ordered some Heinz Peri Peri sauce, figured I'd see how it compares to the Nando's one - +2 votes
Need a good deal on tasty cheese to go with the peanut butter. Peanut butter cheese melt is seriously good.

The simply nuts ones are out of stock. I was keen to try those. Ah well, got plenty of the normal ones. Thanks OP!
i wonder what the expiry dates are on those (not that i care but some family members do)
tell em its peanuts and oil!! lol
Like…that stuff dont expire.
nuts!
literally lolThere are Youtube videos of people opening 50+ year old military meals. The one thing that is always edible and never goes off is peanut butter.
Here is a video of SteveMRE eating a peanut butter from 1955:
I've been poor before -those dates mean nothing to me ; my family members are stubborn
my dad didnt wait in the late 60s he was eating world war one surplus food in the army (when they were luck to get food)

Where was this deal when I was on the lookout for $5 spend to get $2 bonus from CR? sigh

$1.70 for 500g of peanut butter is an awesome deal. Bought the max allowed. Getting jars of peanut butter hand delivered is something that would make Greta Thunberg angry, but I can't resist for the price.

Maybe the peanut butter will arrive via sail boat, therefore no need to worry.

$1.70 to make Greta Thunberg angry? Shut up and take my money!
Does anyone find it a little odd the crunchy peanut butter is a bit more expensive than the smooth? They're essentially the same besides the texture.
No. They actually add crushed nuts to smooth in order to make crunchy. More work, plus higher nut to other cheaper stuff ratio.
Tried vegemite for the fist time last month. Felt it was too salty. Though I understand very little has to be used, that bottle will last really really long considering I eat very little bread.

In case anyone is wondering about best before dates, I just received my package and the jars are dated 29 Jun 2020. That gives me confidence to take advantage of such offers in the future too.
Do any of these peanut butters have have sugar free ones?
