  • Prawns are on special? No way!!!

    • Unless they're first place I'm not going to even bother giving them a mention anymore :)

You might also consider adding the "Dettol No Touch Handwash System" to your IGNORE list… Available for half price all the time.

Pretty uninspiring specials this week hey?
I don't think it's worth going shopping this week.

      yeah i agree

woolworths is telling me to join costco

Specials getting worse and worse every week, I am starting to hate woolworths. Coles is having better bargains lately but i'd rather just get most of my stuff at Aldi.

Woolworths, imo, is fantastic with their Home Brand and Select range. They're also great for people who have allergies, so I can't avoid them entirely.

However, everything else in store - and I truly do mean everything - is overpriced. Coles is by far the better option for general shopping, and Aldi's is probably better than both for basic needs.

      • I have become more selective when shopping at Woolworths, and recently I agree that Coles has been more aggressive with price cuts and keener deals. Woolworths, time to lift your game.

I'm work at Woolworths n yet i don't really like shopping there unless i have to. Aldi is offering the good quality for value, and they are Australia made as well, not like home brand in Woolworths made from oversea.
The funny things is in the last couple months Woolworths management team decide that they don't give a %^#* about its employee, so they start to cutting "cost", yet the price is getting higher, familiar logic ?
Plus Woolworths is owned by American any way

    • +1

Woolworths is listed on the Australian stock exchange. You can own a piece of it. Your superannuation fund would almost certainly be invested in it.

As for being "American owned", the top shareholder is not American.

      Substantial ASX:WOW shareholdings:

JP Morgan Nominees Australia Limited 11.2900%
