    Wow. That price

  • +1

    wow very nice!

  • Does it come with the 2 free games?

    • I have contacted the seller, I'll report back once I hear from them.

    • +4

https://www.amd.com/en/gaming/equipped-to-win the 3800x and Ryzen 9 3000 series gets The Outer Worlds, Borderlands 3, 3 Months of
      Xbox Game Pass for PC*

      • +1

I would probably check the T&Cs. FTC isn't on the list and it isn't advertised on the listing so it would be good to wait from FTC. It could be another case of Gigabyte and forgetting.

  • Cheapest so far?

    • holy shucks. that is an excellent price. better than shopping express.

  • +1

    they listed the 3800x too

    • +1

Thank you, added to the deal :)

      • also the Gigabyte Z390 AORUS MASTER is $399.20 great board for all the intel deals lately

  • +1

Jumped on the 3700x, lowest I have seen it I think?

    • +1

I also bought the 3700x, all time low I believe.

      • Took a lot to not get the 3900x, figured using the difference on a graphics card or something else would be better.

        • Yeah same here, I only game so I find the 3700x to be plenty. I won't make use of all those extra cores.

  • +1

I hope there is a 3950X deal ~$1000, just picked $719 3900X few days ago for an ITX build for my family.

    • That will be a pretty powerful ITX rig

    • I'm keeping an eye out for 3950x, I need/want that and can't see any deals, mind you with the current stock levels around I'm probably out of luck :(

  • +2

    thx OP, just brought a 3700X :)

    • You managed to snag the last one :)

      • +4

        seems like it :)

now I got to figure out the rest of the system…………

finally time to retire my i5-2500K lol

      • +1

More were added a few minutes after that last one, just ordered one.

        • Restocked, although the price was slightly upped.

  • +3

That return policy is just… yikes.

    • +2

Yes, though don't ebay+ have free returns which would negate all that?

      • "Please email us if the item is DOA (dead on arrival) within 7 days from the date of dispatch."

So if shipping takes longer than 7 days and its DOA, no seller replacement is avalialble?

Also "No Return Basis: item sold as is, NO return nor refund."

        • +4

Consumer protections exist for this reason. If you can’t get a reasonable return with a DOA item within a reasonable window, do a charge back and get ACCC involved

    • +4

      They have an ABN

      https://abr.business.gov.au/ABN/View?abn=85600393191

You'll be covered under Australian Consumer Law to get a refund if there is a fault with the product during its reasonable life (what is that for a CPU I wonder?)

  • Anyone confirm these guys are “participating retailers” for the game redemptions?

No Australian stores listed at all that I can see

Cheers OP! Managed to pick up a 3700x! :)

  • +3

Awesome prices but beware of this company, seem to have a name for being difficult with warranty and returns. i.e. Buyer returns, charges for inspections or replacements, huge "re-stock" fees.

  • +3

Their shipping is just… still waiting for 5700 card that I ordered 8 days ago. The tracking history shows picked up unsuccessful from sender. Send msg thro eaby but no reply yet

    • Yep same issue here. I contacted them and they blamed their supplier getting stock to them. They said they should be getting them in and out today (hopefully…)

    • now that you have mentioned it, just checked my tracking and it says the courier is due to pick up the package from FTC on Friday…………. fingers crossed

  • Damn where was this on friday? I already bought on for much more

  • Grabbed 3700x thanks op!!

  • Damn bought a 3900X for $700.40 on Friday. Oh well.

    • I bought it as well!!! Lucky I didnt open it yet, placed a return on it and buying this one.

      • I bought one on Friday as well, hopefully they accept cancellation before shipping out. Otherwise a pain sending it back

    • I bought one the Wednesday before that Friday deal for $760. Still happy though as I managed to get the parts just in time for annual leave, hassle free system build :)

  • +3

Decided to buy from Scorptec for a bit under 700 after reading FTCs T&C, which basically says: fxk u.

    • +2

They are bound by Australian consumer law, regardless of their bullshit T&C. I screenshotted their T&C's, reported them to the ACCC for misrepresenting consumer rights. Hopefully they change their policy soon.

      • Doesn't negate the hassle if they give you a hard time though.

        • It depends, is the money saving worth a gamble on customer support? To me it is, maybe not to you.

I'm used to consumer law so it doesnt phase me anymore when I have to send off a little email supporting my rights.

  • Amazing deal.. beats SE's last deal $440 for the 3700X

  • Can 3700x run ok on x470 board? Any limitation beside the pcie 4?

    • Most likely it'll be fine, but it may need a bios update to run. Be sure to check for your specific board. Limitations would be lack of PCIe and may not support as fast memory.

    • Many brands have released BIOS updates to run Gen 3 AMD, but you should also be aware there's been talk (ASUS specifically) about removing support once they feel people have had enough time to upgrade their mobo's to X570. ASUS states their reason being the motherboards were never designed to run Gen 3 so they don't want to be swamped with warranty issues by formally supporting the Gen 3 on older boards.

  • best price ever? and what is its intel equivalent?

    • +1

9900k with a Z mobo and aftermarket cooling.

  • If any one purchasing is upgrading from a 2700x shoot me a PM ;-)

  • Tempted by the 3900x, coming from a 2700, I have a bad feeling that my itx case won’t handle this too well though…

  • Tempting. I'm still rocking a Ryzen 5 1600.

  • Nice. Gave into temptation and got the 3700X. My old X58 system can finally be retired / repurposed.

    • I'm still making my old x58 work it's ass off, even thinking of seeing if I can fish tank my i7 950 Bloomfield.

  • +2

Any good motherboard deals to go with the 3700x?

  • +1

Ladies and gentlemen, the price has now been jacked.

  • 3700X: $431.20 -> $447.20 now =(

  • Pretty sure I just bought the 3900X for $700 1 day before this, so that sucks :)

  • +2

The deal says it's expired but the listing is still valid for those that want one.

Had I not already picked up a 3700x 2 weeks ago, I would have absolutely gone for this, it's a great price.

  • +1

FTC I have $663.20 sitting and waiting for you but I don't participate in the price jack game. Someone else will be getting my money if you don't lower it back to what it was.

  • now for the overclocking, anyone has good overclocking guide for 3700x~3800x?

    • +1

Just enable PBO. Not worth manually overclocking Zen 2

  • +2

Just to report back regarding the free games and game pass. FTC computers responded, they do not participate.

    • Was gutted at the 3700x's fantastic price. i bought it at $455, at least i got that boderland 3 game, i'm assume $22 is ok for the borderland 3 game.

  • Purchased 3700X on Monday 02, they haven't booked pickup for unit until Friday 06, then waiting for delivery. Sigh.

Bought a Mobo same time from different seller, turned up on doorstep the next morning.

    • +1

Same boat. Selling stock they dont have.

  • +2

Seller shipped CPU box inside of a satchel. Contents were undamaged but box was squashed.

    • Same. Very disappointed. Not getting great feedback from me.

    • I asked them if it will be left I the post office for collection if no one is at home and they said yes. HOWEVER, the item was left at door because the instruction tell the delivery man to leave the item at safe place and no signature is required!! and the package was all wet due to the storm yesterday afternoon.
