That RRP has to be a joke right?

    • That's a 2017 CPU. It was probably quite top-spec back then.

  • Comparatively speaking your post https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/495583 for the same specs but 2070 for over $500 less was much better.

    • Agreed, would rather the case on this one though.

    • omen is the premium range so build quality will be much better, then price in the difference in gpu, better case, ram & ssd, $500 differance works out

It was a over a decade ago but my brother in law had an extremely poor experience with a HP laptop too

      • I've had a couple of HP laptops, both of them ran very hot and as a result the fans were super loud. No experience with their prebuilt desktops, however the case on this one doesn't look that great in terms of airflow.

  • THis was in Jan https://www.gamesradar.com/au/HP-Omen-Obelisk-gaming-PC-revi… had it retailed at $2400

    • thats $US pricing

      • Australia site, so thought it would of been AUD pricing

This is a joke compared to techfast in value, unless you prefer premium hardware and looks. The fact that this was made by HP makes it worse.
