  • What is the difference between Purifier Pro and Purifier 3?

    • +1

Purifier Pro cover bigger area upto 60m2, purifier 3 is newest version at this moment.

      • +1

Do a further special on air purifiers for Sydney!

        • Being from Melbourne he may not get the reference.

Bushfires, very smokey along the NSW coast.

      • +1

@Gearbite Hi Rep. Can you please confirm if the filters are interchangeable? Thst is, would I be able to put a H13 filter into the Pro when the filter is available for sale?
        Cheers

  • +1

Oh no, bought 2 last week at 269 each. Lost $20. Very good price

    • how do you rate these vacuums? im assuming since you bought 2 you really like them?

      • +1

Family loves it. Other family members want it too. Good battery. Powerful suction.

  • was it $220 at ebay just over the weekend?

    • Cheaper a few days ago but different vendor

    • +1

Different seller. Seller may not be legit.

      • From Xiaomi Australia eBay site, I paid $220

      • +3

Was a bit of concern with the seller, but turned out to be legit, mine arrived last night.

        • wow , good to know

didn't expect it to be legit

          • @dcep: Me neither, didn’t buy because afraid they’d send different product

  • +1

How do vacuums compare to Dyson?

    • +16

I have a Dyson v6 and the Dreame
The dyson feels more ergonomic and lighter
      Suction power feels the same
      Dreame has longer battery
Only max mode on both feels usable which makes them quite loud

A lot gets stuck in the Dreame when emptpying, would need a chopstick to get stuff out.

Dreame is amazing for this price, although Dyson on sale would triumph this

"The button on the handle must be pressed continuously so that the vacuuming does not stop."

    Is that correct? Annoying.

    • that's how all my previous dysons have worked

Not my LG cord zero though, it has on/off button.

    • Correct, Dyson is the same but for some reason the Dreame is not as comfortable to hold and press the trigger as the Dyson v6

    • +5

Just getting one of my mates with a 3D printer to print me a trigger-lock latch

      • love it

  • great vacuum, but need to hold trigger like some of the dyson vacuums.
lots get stuck in the barrel, basically everytime i've used it ive had to get my hands in their and remove dust etc.

    • +7

      Please check instruction here

      • hanks for this!

      • Thanks. I didn't know that was possible

    • +1

I don't have Dreame so I can't compare but I often (not always) have to do the same with my Dyson

  • +3

Does anyone know if the Air Purifier 3 comes with an AU plug? Also, I assume even though there's the new H13 filter this can use the existing ones too?

    • +1

yep, i bought one i can confirm it comes with a AU plug and i was told by rep i can use the Xiaomi air purifier 2 filters till the ones for 3 comes out in a few months. I was able to Setup the Air Purifier 3 with google home without a problem. I live in Sydeny so will i get to a chance to see today how well the purifiers are with the all the smoke around.

  • +4

Any studies backing up air purifiers?

  • Any warranty on this?

    • +1

      Yes.Local warranty service.

  • +1

These are excellent - similar power to the dyson v8 for less.

  • +3

I owned a Dyson V6 and I've been using the Dreame V9 for the past few weeks. It is on a different league and more comparable to the V8/10 dysons. I love the fact that the entire internals can be removed for cleaning easily. Suction power on it is stronger and it is quieter on normal mode. I recommend getting the carpet attachment if you have carpeted home as it makes a huge difference.

  • Whats the warranty on this?

  • Just bought this on Monday for $269.99 from Gearbite… any chance of refunding the difference rep? Or Could return it with free returns..

  • Xiaomi Pro air purifier uses the same filter as the 2s right?

  • Just my 2cents. VAX handheld has a trigger local, long lasting battery with a motorhead, cleans better than my past dysons and has removable internals for a good clean and it's alot cheaper

    • I don't know how long you've had yours but my VAX cordless' battery died after about 16 months biweekly use.

The trigger lock was good though.

  • +3

Got one a few months ago, the carpet head roller flattens the battery by quickly, the standard head that is included is probably all most people need.

  • +2

Great vacuum and good support from Gearbite - one of my attachment cracked within couple of months, they replaced no problem. Thanks guys.

    • Is that mean cheap build quality?

  • Ia the air purifier pro the one with hepa filter?

    • +1

They all do though the Purifier Pro version has a H11 filter and the Purifier 3 (Newer model) has a H13 filter as standard.

Still waiting for the Xiaomi H13 filter to come on sale. To soon I guess

      • Thanks. I gather you have the Purifier 3, has it been effective in eliminating the smoke from the recent bushfires?

        • Just bought it a few days ago and expecting it to arrive next week. That's what I am hoping it will help with.. Bought it for that reason as I am asthmatic and tend to also get hay fever alot. Fingers crossed it makes a difference :)

          • @PoRKroLL: Does anyone know if the filters are interchangeable? Would I be able to put a H13 filter into the Pro when the filter is available for sale?
            Cheers

  • finally bit the bullet thanks OP! Will be good to do small cleans and then pull the Bosch out once a week!

  • I was considering a bunch of cordless sticks, the Dreame being one of them. I ended up going with the LG CordZero from The Good Guys. 10% off plus the 3 piece accessory pack for free. Brought it yesterday and I’m very happy with it.

  • just bought a Xiaomi Mi Smart Air Purifier 3 and i regretted…
not about the purifier, just Gearbite's Estimated time are "between Fri. 13 Dec. and Mon. 16 Dec", while others like oz_accessory and bestforapple are "On or before Mon. 09 Dec".
this make me wonder their local stocks ar really local.

    • Oz_accessory seems to be another Gearbite store or front. They also advertise as having stock or stock located in a specific locality (Sydney), but this doesn't seem to be the case as they are dispatching from Melbourne.

  • This or a Dyson V7?

I've bought the Dyson V7 as a click and collect from Big W for the $349 the other day. I'm yet to collect and can return.

I'm hesitant about the Dream as I bought the roidmi f8 about 18 months ago, and fell over while leaning against wall and now dead. Wasnt too impressed with the Roidmi F8

  • +1

I see this all the time but am curious how does it compare to a similarly priced Dyson (with the separate Dreame carpet head included in the price)?

  • Even though it only has a minor bump in suction power, is there any word when the Dreame v10 is going to be available here? https://china-gadgets.com/dreame-v10-battery-vacuum-cleaner/

  • Better this one or the new Xiaomi one? https://www.mi.com/global/mi-handheld-vacuum-cleaner

  • What’s difference between AU and International version.

Toby’s deals have for $249 using code “ CF5OCT” but it’s international version.

    • +1

Au plug for au version and meet australian compliance, Also local warranty.

      • But your "global" purifiers do have AU plug and local warranty right?

        • +1

If you purchase fromm us. We will include au plug for purifier and will support by our local warranty as well.
