    Thanks OP!

its good deal but just keep in mind the benefits you lose if paying by certain credit cards, price protection, merchandise protection, extended warranty etc.. some times need to weigh up the savings as it may be better long term paying paying a little higher by CC if you have the right card..

    • +28 votes

Yeah that extended warranty on my milk ;)

    • +4 votes

true, but with woolies, i think its genreally groceries/petrol/small household items. If we keep the receipt, it should be pretty easy to return stuffs even if we got them on gc.

      • +2 votes

Slow day I thought this was TGG gift cards 🤦‍♂️

      • +1 vote

agreed. Woolies will refund you either way

  • +1 vote

Can you add these to the Woolies Money app to track?

    • +1 vote

      yes.

  • +2 votes

how do you join this concierge service?

    •

One way to do it is to buy something really cheap like a pair of cheap headphones from Good Guys and select concierge service add on when checking out.

If you select click and collect then the concierge service will only become active once you actually pick up the item.

      •

Thanks! sounds too difficult and wait time is too long!!

        • +2 votes

You could literally have it by close of business today if you wanted.

  • +1 vote

    How much is membership?

    •

      $30 for 3 years

  • +2 votes

Note this is also applicable to the Coles Myer Physical gift cards (5% -> 10%) also

    •

      updated. Thanks

    •

Can you use these for online orders?

      •

Not redeemable at Kmart New Zealand, mycar, Coles Group online businesses except for Target online.

  • +7 votes

The warning is that they take a very long time to send the cards.

I bought the cards in September during their previous 10% off offer. In November, I got an email saying that delivery had been delayed and I could choose to get the cards in electronic form. However, once I replied back, they were quick and sent the electronic card via email in a couple of days.

    • +5 votes

What I isn't understand is why they just don't send them all electronically? Surely it's cheaper and quicker.

      •

They hold onto the money to generate interest, then give you the discount.

    •

And the egift cards i got…someone else used em

  • +7 votes

As others have pointed out previously, expect to wait a minimum of 2 months to receive your order

  • +3 votes

After 3 mths when they haven't sent them open a Paypal case ( don't buy without maximum protection ) and ignore when the Pegasus Group requests for you to close the case and they will send them if you do that . Not worth the hassle !

    •

Unfortunately gift cards aren't covered by buyers protection on PayPal. Believe me I tried, they dismissed my case.

I ordered 6 Oct I still have got it yet

      •

        Did u ever get it?

  • +5 votes

If your order exceeds the Fair Use Policy it may take up to 9 weeks for delivery.

…And by the way also if it doesn't exceed fair use policy.

  •

I was below their Fair Use Policy and took over 13 weeks , 2 nd order was faster due to PP case but too many hassles . 2 K and below their Fair Use Policy when I ordered .

buy this and add $30, total cost is $40 to get a membership!

    •

how long do we have to wait after purchasing the membership before we can sign up for Concierge?

    • +2 votes

Would have to buy more than $800 to make this more worthwhile than everyday 5% CashRewards discount.
      CR: pay 800 - 40(5%) = $760 for $800 value
      GG: pay 800 - 80(10%) + 40(new-member) =$760 for $800 value

      • +1 vote

Don’t forget that the concierge membership gives $20 store credit 3 times a year for 3 years.

        •

That's a bonus. I thought it was only the first year. Just used mine to purchase Miele bags for $4.95 after the discount.

  • +2 votes

I am still waiting for delivery from the September 'deal'

  • +1 vote

According to their newsletter on another membership, this round GCs will be dispatched from 1st week of Feb 2020.

    • +1 vote

      "From" being the operative word.

  •

    Strap in…

Order now but expect these by Easter.

  •

Can you buy these gift cards and then use them to purchase ebay gift cards in-store?

    •

      No

    •

Yes at Coles. As long as GC covers eBay GC amount.

  •

I received my order yesterday that I placed on the 6th October. So one day short of 2 months, or 44 business days. I have placed a few orders in the past and NONE have arrived in 28 business days. All my orders have been below the $2K fair use policy. It's a good deal, but don't expect delivery in 28 business days.

    •

I Ordered same day and still havent received. Can you confirm if you received in envelop? thinking to place another order for home address

      •

I paid the extra $5.50 for registered post. I received the order in a registered post envelope. Had to pick it up from the post office as our postman is too lazy to come to the door.

    •

I ordered 5/10/19. No shipping notification received yet.

  •

"You will receive a Wish Gift Card at the value purchased." What does this mean?

"Valid for 3 years", don't Wish gift cards have no expiry nowadays?

  •

Will these arrive before the expiry date??

  •

The delivery would be after Christmas I believe, going by the previous deal.

And IIRC they shut down from just before Christmas until mid-late Jan.
I’ll order more, but I don’t expect to see them before March.

I was polite with them with the Sept order and after some email exchanges they kindly emailed me eWish cards after ~8wks.
If anyone hasn’t received their last lot, I suggest they send a nice email & ask if it’s possible to get eWishcards instead.

    •

Just wondering did you send a direct email? Or through their prompt on the website?

      •

        I emailed. [email protected]

I did ring them on another occasion. I suspect it’s a one-two people show.

  •

they will send, unfortunately, you just have to pester them constantly after the 28 business days, as they use the full time period plus more.

    •

      Agree…not worth it

  •

To me is a Ponzi scheme.

  • +1 vote

Ordered from last sale on 06 October, still not received.

  • +4 votes

I think they make money from holding your money for interests or investment returns. This is the business model? This explains why it takes so long to ship.

    •

The 5% off egiftcard all seem to be sent 2-3 days after ordering.

Prior to seeing these 10% promotions on ozbargain I was purchasing physical Coles/ww giftcards just at 5% for the convenience. They would arrive 5-6 weeks approx 28 buisness days. The ww giftcards do have a series number for the batch they were all originally numbered under 100 for each and every order.
The ones I received from the 10% June numbered 500’s and the September numbered 700’s

I just don’t think they have the staff to process the physical cards, now compounded by phone calls/emails/Paypal disputes

As a side note October I ordered my $2k physical cards then in November contacted them and had them issue them as egiftcards instead and they refund the postage

  • +1 vote

I still haven't received my order from September, despite offering the deal again in October, and again now. It's really quite concerning.

Good Guys Concierge, you have one job.. please do it!

    • +1 vote

Email the provider (it’s Not TGG) [email protected]. With your order number.

    • +1 vote

I also ordered mine in September. After seeing this deal, I called up the concierge line, got transferred about 3 times and put on hold for about half an hour and when I got to the correct department, they said they'd contact the vendor to get an update and also asked me if I was happy to accept a digital gift card instead. I said yes to digital so we'll see if they end up coming through.

      • +1 vote

Had the same issue as well and gave up on physical cards. Too bloody hard with these Muppets

    •

Well that’s just dumb that you haven’t sorted it out by now,

      • +1 vote

I've contacted them twice. Surely just making the order should be enough to get the order?

        •

It’s not acceptable at all. Threaten them with hell and high water or something.
Absolutely should be looked at by ACCC, this type of behaviour/business model surely has something they could action.

Ordered in Sep and have not received till date. Logged PayPal dispute and waiting.

  • +1 vote

Adding to the warnings: Be aware that delivery of these can take many months.

  •

    order it

  •

Any card activation fees as well?

  • +1 vote

So many issues with them it's not worth buying from. Bought twice and they refunded without asking how I wanted to proceed after opening a PayPal dispute.

  •

I did order the online vouchers on Monday for which the max time for delivery as in the order was 4/12 end of day. AS usual they didn't send me anything until today noon and that too after 3 calls starting yesterday morning. This isn't the first time as i ordered Rebel voucher(online) in mid November. Was the same got the email after talking to customer care. So please be ware that its not a straight forward thing with them. Also was just reading the terms that they aren't responsible if the physical vouchers are lost in transit and hence they are encouraging to take the registered mail which is another 5$ extra.

Unfortunately gift cards aren't covered by buyers protection on PayPal. Believe me I tried, they dismissed my case.

I ordered 6 Oct I still have got it yet

    •

ask for refund, and if Paypal won't help then reverse on the CC
      not me that neg'd

    •

yes, you need to do credit card chargeback.

never use bank account for paying.

  •

Can you choose e-gift at time of order?

  •

After seeing the comments from people about delays, no delivery and then no protection from Paypal… No deal.

  •

when does this 10% promo end? i need to wait a few days to confirm my amex with paypal code.

    •

I just received a new amex card and added to my paypal. It still worked without the code.

The message says " Enter the code to confirm your card, and we'll raise your spending or withdrawal limits." It's possible that your current spending limit is high enough to purchase without the code. Maybe call paypal and confirm your current limit.

  •

If you have spare cash lying around then I don't see why one shouldn't order and earn an extra 5%, given interest rate is so low atm.
I have ordered from this mob before and they did eventually send the cards after chasing a few times. The lady who I dealt with was friendly and threw in some freebies for the inconvenience
I have ordered under this promotion.
    Thanks OP.

    •

      What freebies?

  •

Recieved shipping notification today for my 1st November (deal prior to this one) Coles giftcards

    •

I received the shipping notification too, although when I put the number into the AusPost tracking website, it's telling me that the item hasn't been scanned (ie pending)…
      Has yours been delivered?

      •

Nothing on the tracking yet. They’ve packaged the giftcards but it’s not processed into auspost. Should appear soonish.

For example the ones from September
        Recieved tracking email 3/12
First scan 5/12 DANDENONG SOUTH VIC
        10/12 Delivered Sydney

        •

Cheers, we are in the same boat.
They sent me the tracking number via Paypal on Wednesday 18/12 and it's showing as yet to be scanned by AusPost.
Would be great if we get them before the holiday!

        •

FYI, my order which was placed on 2/11 was delivered on 24/12.
Postie simply left the package on my doorstep, unbelievable, lucky it didn't get nicked.

  •

Received my order today. I received the electronic form despite paying for registered post. I have not even been refunded for the postage from the previous order. Go back and check you have been refunded postage if you order physical cards and were then sent digital cards.

  •

Haven't received my Coles giftcards yet. Is anyone else in the same boat?

    •

      me too

      •

Took me 2 months and a PayPal dispute to get them last year

        •

I sent them an email aboout my woolies ones and they sent them to me as e-gift cards. [email protected] with my order#.
They indicated that they were excuding their “Christmas shut down period” from their 28 work day calculation.

  •

I’m still waiting for these, anyone else in the same boat?

    •

I placed an order for Coles Group and Myer gift cards. Still nothing at this stage.

I'll have to contact them soon as Friday will be the 3 month mark. I think that's well past their stated delivery window - regardless of how many shutdown days, feast days, and birthdays they exclude from their calculation. I'll probably find out that 2020 being a leap year adds a couple of weeks for some reason.

      •

I chased my WW ones 3 weeks ago and received them back as e-gift cards. I am now in the process of chasing ones from an early January order (33 working days).
I would be chasing them if I was you. Make sure you have your order # ready (you will find it in a concierge email).

  •

Still no update on the gift card tracking, call them 100 times no one pick it up.

    •

I email [email protected] - always get replies.

      • +1 vote

I also emailed them and never get reply, I will email them again

        •

Give them your order number and asked them for an update. Or ask if they can send them electronically.

          •

@Qroozn: I want Coles Myre gift card to use in office work on price match and they did send me the wish gift card for Woolworths when I reach them 2 weeks ago.

I will email them again, I think if I can't get through again, I will raise a PayPal dispute.

  •

I ordered Coles Myer gift cards on 12/12/19. Haven’t received yet. Called them many times. They didn’t pick up the phone. Emailed them on 06/03/20. Haven’t got any reply. So frustrating.
