[VIC] Weber Genesis II E410 4-Burner LPG $1099 (RRP $1499) NG $1139 (RRP $1719) + Delivery or Free MEL Pickup @ BBQs & Outdoor

780

This is the LPG version. NG also available here: https://www.bbqsandoutdoor.com.au/product/weber-genesis-ii-e…

Due to the size and weight of this BBQ, it can’t be shipped interstate, this is a VIC deal.

I work one day a fortnight at this store, and when I was there on the weekend noted we still have stock of these. These are clearance stock as the new model has a couple of insignificant differences (primarily stainless steel flavourisers over this models enamelled mild steel).

Obviously a bit higher priced than some people’s taste, but if you were looking at a family Q this is a massive step up in terms of quality and capability. There’s generally no or very limited discount on the Weber premium gas range, so well worth a look!

Nice work as you say very rare to get discounts on there, we have a e330 and have had it for 5 years already and never misses a beat as you say not cheap bbqs but they will last forever if looked after.

  • +1

I have a Q3100. Pretty happy with it. Is it worth an upgrade?

    • +3

I had two Q series prior to the E330 and unless you need more space I wouldn't bother bang for buck the Q series are very hard to beat and still very well made compared to most other BBQs. The one thing I love on the Genesis series is the "sear station" you can get crazy high temps if you really like to char your meat but you can still do some amazing steaks on a Q if you have the right technique. Also on the Genesis you can run half grate half plate if that's your thing.

      • +15

Please let me know when you find a recent mode Genesis somebody us chucked on the lawn - I’d love to pick one up!

These BBQs are not aimed at someone who is just looking for a $150 Bunnings POS - they’re a high quality product with unparalleled after sales support that will give you a flavour profile at another level to competitor BBQs.

      • +3

Clearly a comment based on no actual experience with the product. These are very high quality and last a very long time.

      • +1

Mine is 9yrs old, no dramas

    • +3

The genesis has a few benefits over the Q:
      - Individual burners with flavorisers create more smoke and flavour than the Q
      - The burners are higher output and as such will give you a better, easier sear on your food.
      - Substantially larger cooking space.
      - Individual burner control allowing you to create hot and cold zones for warming, direct and indirect cooking
      - Substantially longer warranty, 10 years on the Genesis range
      - Overall construction on the Genesis is a whole other level of quality to the Q, no plastic side tables, better finished all over makes it a lot easier to clean (the unfinished underlid of the Q is a nightmare for OCD cleaners as you’re no doubt aware!
      - Shelves for storage
      - Wired for the iGrill3

You can resell the Qs at a pretty good price generally, so if you’re considering an upgrade the genesis will give you everything you currently have plus more.

      • +2

Thanks muchly. Nothing really jumps out screaming as a worthwhile upgrade for me, except possibly the individual burner control does sound nice. I might stick with the 3100 :) thank you.

        • Fair enough too! The Family Q is a great unit - hope you keep enjoying cooking with it!

  • +2

Don’t forget the 15% off storewide today only Instore

    • +1

Thanks Dex added to the description - wasn’t sure about putting it in as it was in store only for today! But includes the Weber range and accessories - could only post one deal in 24 hours and this Genesis is a cracker for my money!

  • +2

I've got the same model as this in the three burner. Hands down best BBQ I've ever owned, use it all the time.

  • +1

Have a natural gas outfit under pergola, will this work or I need a different version?

  • +3

You can't go wrong with a Weber.

We use our Ng summit 5 times a week. Fantastic investment.

  • +2

I've got a Weber Genesis 3 burner… had it almost 15 years now.
Still going great guns, and I use it throughout the whole year at least once a week.

Never had any issues with anything (ignition, no hot spots etc). Without question the best BBQ I've ever cooked on.
I'll never buy another bbq brand again. I swear you can tell when meat has been cooked on a Weber…. love it.

  • No deal on the Natural Gas version? 😭

  • +2

Going from a Q to a Genesis is like going from a Swatch to an AMG Mercedes Benz, despite what the Q-boys army say. Yes, they are both cars but..

    • +1

      This guy gets it

    • +3

Lol, this guy thinks a swatch is a car…
      I’ll show myself out.

      • But I thought Swatch is also a mini car…

  • Interested but any idea on shipping cost to Sydney? At checkout it says a custom quote for shipping is needed.

    • +1

Tbh interstate shipping would probably be prohibitive as it is a big item - quite a large box and weighs around 90kg, it’d have to be shipped on a pallet I think. I’m not really posting on behalf of the store here, just sharing what I saw in store at a good price. You can give the store a call on 03 9462 1522 and they could advise further.

  • don't think anyone in perth even stocks them anymore…

  • Does this one require the lid to be closed during cooking, like the Q series? I replaced a traditional 4-burner with a family Q a few years ago and thought I'd be ok with that - turns out, I'm not.
All I do with it these days is roasts.

    • +1

Yep it’s a lid down bbq. Can cook on the griddle lid up though which I do for bacon and eggs etc.

    • +1

Yeah the genesis gets hotter than the Q so is much more suitable for searing and stuff, but it is designed around lid down cooking as most modern US grills are.

If you really want that high heat lid up cook consider a Beefeater which is included in the 15% off sale.

    • +2

All Webers are lid down cooking.
The people who can't adapt are the ones who provide bargains for the 2nd buyers

  • I thought the NG version normally includes delivery and installation, does that no longer apply?

    • You’re correct, NG models normally include delivery and installation.

Not for this model - it’s been priced purely to clear. Delivery and installation is available at extra cost.

  • Editing previous comment as more stock has been secured from Weber so the deal is good to continue 👍

This new deal includes all the charcoal Webers!

      • +1

thank you ill check it out!

  • +1

No pictures of the actual hot plate/grill and burner layout?

    • Yeah the photos come from Weber direct. It’s pretty much 1/3 plate and 2/3 grate.

  • Anyone have experience of the Weber Pulse 2000?

    • +1

I haven’t cooked with it personally. The store did a demo day a while ago, and everyone was super impressed with the taste of the food that came out - really doesn’t taste like it was cooked on an electric grill.

All the customers that have bought them have been super happy from what I hear!

    • If you’re keen on the Pulse it’s included in the new 15% off deal!

Got me self a nice red baby q1200 just in time for caravaning after Christmas. Costed 290 or around. Loving it

  • Is there a rostisserie attachment for the E410?

  • +1

Damn I want this but it’s pretty big for the space I have. I’ve only got width for 1300mm, this this is 1660mm apparently. Anyone know if that side table can be removed? (Not the gas side). Thanks.

    • +1

It folds down pretty easily, if you live nearby the showroom there’s one setup on the floor you can have a look at if you like!

      • Thanks. Placed an order but requested shipping quote. Do you know if the stock is held whilst quote is generated, or should I have paid for it instead?
How big is the box do you think? I reckon I could probably get the box in the back of my SUV with the rear seats folded down.

        • +1

As far as I’m aware you should be ok for stock. Shoot me a PM the name it was ordered under and I’ll get the manager to get on it in the morning. It will likely fit in your SUV with the seats folded down. It’s pretty big, but the weight is more the issue, it’s something like 90kgs so you’ll need someone strong to help you when you get it home!

We loaded one into a corolla the other day with the seats down, it was super tight but got in.

    • I've got the exact same dimensions, can you let me know if it ends up fitting? Thanks

  • Hey OP. i just placed an order. can you work your magic and get them to call me as well? im keen on delivery for a reasonable price otherwise happy to pick up as well on the weekend!. My order name is the same as my OZB name

    • No worries, they’ve give you a call when they’re in- enjoy your new BBQ!

  • Any discounts on the Kettle range? Keen on charcoal, less keen on gas.

    • +1

Keep an eye out on OzB, I should have something on kettles soon. That being said, they don’t discontinue kettle models like they have with this so the discount won’t be as huge as this one!

      • +1

Thanks for the reply. I know the Australian Weber distributor has a tight hold on the pricing for Webers (at least the kettles as far as I'm aware) and they rarely go on sale.

        • +1

Yeah kettles and the premium gas range (summit, Genesis, Spirit and high lid Qs) are only sold by specialist dealers and margins are generally fairly tight.

    • As promised, here’s a deal including the kettle range!

Thanks OP. pulled the plug and ordered an LPG version.

    • Awesome, enjoy it!

  • Hi OP, is the cover highly recommended if I can't store it undercover? Thanks for your advice!

  • +1

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that has purchased a Genesis through this deal. I hope you’re all happy with your BBQs. This was the first deal I posted, and the store is a relatively small, family owned business that has been around for more than 15 years - I know the owners really appreciate everyone’s business.

With the response this deal has gotten I’m sure there’ll be more posts for the store in the future!

    • I talked you up to the blokes behind the counter. you've done them a solid!. Cheers

      • +1

Haha thanks! Hope you enjoy your BBQ!

  • +1

Really nice store and super helpful ! Thumbs up!

    • Glad you had a good experience!

Fired up the new purchase yesterday for the Christmas ham and couple of roast chickens, so happy with the new Genesis. Picked up a cover when I was at the store too, wanted to protect my new baby. Thanks for the great deal and friendly service when picking up. Here’s to a few more summers to come 👍
