Here's the link direct to the product listing. Looks like a good mouse, and props for it being truly ambidextrous.

    • yeah it's worth $67 unless you aren't that into competitive gaming

It's one of the best mice in the new generation of superlight mice (< 70 grams) and manages to do it without holes in the shell.

What makes it unique amongst its competitors (like GLORIOUS Model O and D, CM MM710, etc) is that it has side buttons on the left and right.

Basically this is one of the few choices for any left hander looking for a new superlight mouse and wants side buttons.

Main downside is the Razer tax, which this coupon partially mitigates.

      • Razer Synapse is also pretty bloaty.

Edit: That being said, Logitech Gaming Software after V9 is also bloat

        • Logitech Gaming Software after V9 is also bloat

True although it isn't required to run to use Logi mice with settings applied.

Also doesn't feature flouro green splash screen every time you start your PC that a hyperactive 12 year old might find cool.

      • is that it has side buttons on the left and right.

Can't speak for everybody but this is annoying as (profanity) on the G903. I hope for your sake you can disable buttons.

        • The side buttons on the Viper have an above-average resistance so you're unlikely to accidentally press them.

        • You can disable them through unbinding with the Logitech gaming software.

        • G903 comes with magnetic blanks though?

      • Before I knew anything about this mouse, I tested it out not expecting too much and then was SOOOO surprised by the lightweight. It was amazing and nothing like I had ever tried before

    what a great deal

  • Another other Razer mice applicable to such a discount, outside of the catalogue promos?

  • it's a really good mouse I bought one months ago.

  • +3

it's considered one of the best mice out for a non-wireless.

I'd get on this deal. It's a steal.

Been watching Zy for few years now, tops content

Seems like a really good price for a well rated mouse.

    Edit: oops as stated above.

    Absolute ripper price!

    Pity I just bought a MM710 and a G Pro wireless!

    • I would still rate the G Pro Wireless over the Wired Viper.
How is the MM710 though? When would you be using it considering you've got the GPW on your desk?

      • +1

I also have the Glorious Model O, been using that as my main. (I'm a mouse hoarder as you can see)

The MM710 is pretty good. It is significantly shorter than the mice mentioned. The structure is solid on it and the feet are far smoother than the Model O (They're bigger). Only played with it for a bit as I got it yesterday, but I still prefer the model O over it as the MM710 is just too small for me.
Another thing worth mentioning on the MM710 is that I have a bit of movement on the left and right click. So if I press and hold the clicker and then move my finger up and down theres a bit of "wobble" or movement. I assume this is just my unit though.

My G Pro wireless hasn't arrived yet. Should be here in a couple days. Only thing I'm worried about on the G pro is the lack of grooves or shape as it's very round and smooth. Which may not provide me much grip.

I haven't fully found which mouse works best for me yet.

        • I am actually considering all the mice you have just mentioned. Have G703, MX Master, Intellimouse pro, anywhere2s for the plane.

Have been considering G Pro wireless due to the shape, find the back of the G703 too big.

Picking up the GLorious Model O- tomorrow, saw the MM710 from coolermaster but always thought in the back of my mind, case maker vs mouse maker.

I'm guessing you feel the MM710 back is just way too short as that's what really stood out to me.

      • I really like the shape of it. Was previously using the Mastermouse pro S.
Think its a great product and the cord on the mm710 is amazing. Think its still better than the updated Glorious cables.

If the shape doesn't fit how you use a mouse though, I don't think you'll like it and its better to go for the Glorious model O-.

At normal prices, these 2 mice are the 2 leaders in the market imo.
The viper at this price definitely competes though.

Rocket Jump Ninja has really good reviews on all 3.

        • Rocket Jump ninjas videos are so good. And its nice to have a bunch of amazing ultra light mice to choose from. You basically just pick the one that fits your hand the best.

I have 2 model Os myself. If the viper was available when I got them and at this price I probably would have gone for the viper. Keeping my eye open for when the Viper ultimate hits <$150 and I'll snap it up I think. The light cables are all well and good. But I still prefer wireless cord still gets in my way.

    • Pity

Why would you want a wired mouse?

Care to elaborate on that comment? If the code is freely available on their web site and isn't unique to any recipient I fail to see how it's being abused. (FWIW, I didn't neg you, I'm just curious why you posted that.)

      • I meant that it is supposed to be for the newsletter readers only. Basically they state in t+c that it's only for subscribers etc then it gets posted on here and abused to hell by people buying multiple to resell.

All I'm saying is the coupon code shouldn't be posted. By all means post these deals to alert people who've been sent a coupon.

        • Okay, I see your point. I suppose you could argue that posting it here isn't too far removed from forwarding the email to everyone in your address book, which achieves the same thing. You're correct that JB are not helping themselves by making the codes non-unique.

  • This is amazing price…

  • Thanks, this will replace my old Copperhead

  • Damn crazy good price. Would grab one but I'm not a fan of ambi mice unfortunately. Perform better with ergo.

  • Thanks op.

  • Damn it, I bought it for $90 just the other week. $67 is a great deal

  • Killer deal. Highly recommended mouse.

  • Got the last one from Mount Druitt, better check stock level before you go.

  • Looks like JB might be discontinuing these, or waiting for a large shipment. Perhaps a JB rep can confirm. Luckily I just purchased one of the last in SA - if you're on the edge jump on it quickly!

  • was waiting for wireless one, but i cant resist this price haha

    • Same bro. I was waiting for wireless Viper but I can't hold myself on this price!

    • Just get a mouse bungee. Not quite wireless feel, but close enough.

      • tape on back of monitor is the OzB method hehe

  • decent deal, running a modded mastermouse s which is similar to this

  • im looking for a good wireless mouse for gaming (blutoth or usb dongle?) it must have least 2 buttons on the side that's it

    • +1

Logitech G Pro Wireless, though it's costly. I believe Mwave has a discount on these at the moment as well. Personally I can't speak highly enough about the mouse.

  • +1

    This is a decent deal!

But I'm absolutely desperate for some store in Aus to get in a bunch of Logitech G600's in again, plenty over in the US but none here anymore (they don't make them iirc) and Amazon has them for $120 at the cheapest. 12 buttons on the side, G-shift and horizontal clicking on the mouse wheel…..its started to double click and freaks out when I drag/highlight text now…..best mouse I ever owned, friggen RIP :(

    • Just get a G502 when it's up for $50 again.

      • G502 is nothing like the G600. G600 has 12 buttons on the side, an extra clicker at the right ring finger and more.

I have one too. I remember when they were dirt cheap. I reckon I paid like $40 tops for mine.

It's really something they should bring back. Better than all its competitors in my opinion.

The next closest thing would be the Corsair Scimitar Pro. https://www.pccasegear.com/products/38034/corsair-scimitar-p…

        • I wouldn't get my hopes up about them bringing the 12 button fad back, but if you love it, follow your heart.

  • Thanks op. Bought one at south wharf dfo

  • +1

Buy one for each hand at this price!

  • Have one of these, they're excellent, especially at this price.

  • Got one! Great mouse!
Not the best compatibility for Mac though…
Was so hard to find the link Razor Synapse link: http://rzr.to/synapse-mac-download

  • Looks like PCCG has matched the price: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/504905

  • Thanks OP, got a few for Christmas prezzies!
