24 Nuggets & 4 Sauces for $9.95 @ McDonald’s

807

First time I've been to McDonald's in months.. 24 nuggets for $9.95 which is cheaper than 20 nuggets for some reason. Dunno if this is a promotion or price error as I don't eat at this restaurant chain really.

This has been a deal for about a year now. If not longer.

    • Thanks for posting Op, I wasn't aware of this deal.

      Maybe 24 months

Good for you. Where do you go instead?

        • My local maccas. You?

          • -2

@cheaponos: No, did you say you have not been to macdonalds for 24 months? Where do you go instead i meant.

            • @fredk1000: No, he was inferring OP has not been to Maccas for over 24 months as this deal has been around for a long time.

              • +3

@dcep: Ok, got it. All these nuggets are making me slow… My brain is sauce, Big Mac sauce.

  • +10

    Lol

  • +10

Ah ok. I searched for 24 nuggets on the forums but didn't find anything. Update.. not a fan of McDonald chicken nuggets but the bbq sauce is good

    • +5

+1 just for the sauce comment. it sure is good

      • bbq sauce just tastes like smoky bbq

I find the search doesn't work well sometimes. Try narrowing it down to a deal and not expired. For example this search brings back your deal plus the original.

    • +4

Sweet and sour is the only way to go.

      • +3

Problem is McD's sweet and sour is more like apricot than either sweet or sour.

    • +4

Have you tried the "sweet mustard" sauce? That's pretty good too.

      • if i recall correctly it use to be honey mustard but i guess you cant call it honey mustard if don’t use real honey

        • They give honey for free for some reason. Guess you could buy sweet sauce and get a free honey and mix them?

    • +4

Aioli or big Mac sauce masterrace

    • +1

      Bring back sweet curry sauce.

    • +1

Sure it's good but if you're paying $9.95 just for the sauce it's probably not a bargain.

    • -4

Whatever you do, don't get the Big Mac sauce. From best to worst IMHO:
      - Sweet and Sour
      - Honey/Sweet Mustard
      - BBQ
      - McChicken Sauce
      - Aioli/Caesar
any other sauces I may have forgotten
      - No sauce
      - Big Mac Sauce

      • Blasphemy

        • Blasphemy how I didn't rate the BBQ sauce higher? Yeah, it was a tough decision. Between all of them (except one) in fact!

Where have you been all this time? This deal provides a staple component of a typical OzB'ers diet

You have a good taste in avatars :-P

    +1 for a reminder

Here in SE Qld it's been going for a few years now, I have small children so this deal comes in handy being on a budget. It's not advertised but always available between 10.30am and midnight. Available at all suburban restaurants that I have visited. Nice when selected with Big Mac sauce.

  • +3

Bruh this is a permanent menu item i swear been getting it for years

  • -2

    What a great value, $7.95 for 24 nuggets !! Considering it’s 50 cents for 1 sauce

    • +3

Doesn’t work that way because the price doesn’t change if you get no sauce lmao

      • +1

But if you were going to buy the sauces… (haha who does that..?)

  • +22

This is the permanent, regular price between 10:30 and midnight daily, and has been for a very long time. Regular menu price for a readily available item is not a bargain.

    • -6

But its a good price. Where does it say permanent it not a deal?

      • +4

Shush, don’t go getting ideas. We don’t need you spamming RRP posts next.

    • +1

Woah don’t be too grumpy. It’s nuggets after all.

      NUGGETS.

      • +1

There’s zero grumpiness in my comments. Don’t be so sensitive.

        • +4

People don't like hearing facts stated plainly. Next thing, people are going to call their doctor grumpy for telling them they have a flu

  • +1

Thought this is a new deal, read twice.
    1min later.
    Me: bahahhaha.

    Thanks for sharing anyways.

  • +2

Normal deal for years. They're much better than hungry jacks nuggets that's for sure higher oil changing standards.

  • lmaooo

  • -2

OP you need to go out more

  • -1

Man some people get so angry about a deal posting when OP is just trying to be nice and helpful.

    +1 for effort OP

  • I guess this answers this: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/499452

  • +3

    Regular menu price

  • Is this not a duplicate?

  • +2

What is everyone going to maccas for? This is the only thing an Ozbargainer should buy besides their app deals!

    • +1

The $1 Junior Burgers/Hamburgers… They are one of my fav burgers of all time

      • +1

Have my vote for calling it a junior burger!! Stupid hamburgers.

        • Lol. I have always called them Junior Burgers when I order them and never have the people look stumped, so it's a tradition that won't quit. :)

    • -1

      Free water
      $5 mcfeast/mcdouble meals
      Ice cream cones.
      Wifi

    • $1 Large frozen Cokes.

  • -3

    Lame

  • Almost forgot about dis

  • -1

    This aint a deal

  • +1

Bad news, as part of our Value Range refresh (see link), 24 Nuggets are soon going to be $11.95 nationwide ($9.95 —> $11.95)

Takes effect between 7 September – 9 September, depending on state.

    • :<

    • noooooooooooooooooooo! That was the only non-ripoff item I bought from maccas. I guess I just won't eat there now :)

    • +4

Imagine putting $2 small fries on the value range lol. $3 small sundae?
Either Maccas is taking the piss or people care about money even less than I thought.
