  • Is cashback calculated on the ex-GST amount?

    • +1

      Yeah, no cashback on GST.

      • $193 item

        GST = $17.55
        Ex GST Amount $175.45

        12% Cashback = $21.05

Total price less cachback therefore $171.55?

I don’t know about ShopBack it has not tracked my purchase during promo where the % had increased, raised a support request and it’s been 12 days pending investigation. I had similar issues to the people here https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/shopback Cashrewards never had issues tracking my purchases…

    • I've had problems with both to be fair . CR is my choice if the same % due to better customer service with TA .

So gotyourback get your toys up to 8% again mate to get me back :)

      • +1

If both have the same % discount… buying two different items is my choice. ;-p

    • I've had and still have purchases that haven't tracked with shopback during their 15% cashbacks at AliExpress.

They don't even respond to my mails now.
The only time sales don't track with them is when they increase the percentage. Go figure.

  • Does this work on international order?

    Ie -
Limited Time | FREE International Expedited Delivery on Prime eligible orders.

    • +1

It should, as long as its sold in Amazon AU (including Amazon US via AU)

  • Cashback eligible on items sold by 3rd party Amazon Marketplace sellers?

  • Anyone else have the 20% from cyber weekend deals not track or just me? Wouldn't have bought the item if it wasn't going to track.

    • Tracked for me but was still calculating until about a week ago.

    • +1

Bought two phones during their 15% cashback day at AliExpress the other day. I too wouldn't have bought them without the cashback. One of the phones hasn't tracked, and shopback don't even respond to my emails anymore.

  • Is the $50 cap per order or per Shopback account?

    • interested to know too.

  • question is what to order?

I’ve participated in so many Shopback promotions and only 30% actually track.

    • i signed up Shopback because of the $5 amazon cashback deal, used their app to buy thing on amazon, didn't track a thing.

Just a headsup for everybody regarding Amazon Global store:

Bought two products on sunday that were eligible for international delivery. Picked the $5 express international delivery option (On amazon prime account) and on the checkout page it said ETA 18/12/19-20/12/19.
Checked my status order later and it was pushed to ETA 25/12/19. Went back to "reorder it"and the estimated delivery was still 18th-20th.
Called amazon and that all global orders were delayed and so i cancelled my order since it wont be here in time for christmas. So beware if you're buying from the global store!!

    • hehy, my AU store fulfilled by amazon was delayed by 5 days.
      like wth

Thanks OP, picked up a cheapie 4k 65" tv for $499 all up.

    • Same, 55 incher for $320, can't complain for a ps4

      • Do you have a link?

      • What Tv is that? Got any link?
I was thinking to buy one for my new ps4 too 😅😅

  • +6

Damn I was hoping we'd have confirmation by now whether it is multiple transactions or not

    • +1

      Same!

Thanks, managed to pickup some Puma sweatpants for $13.82(https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07DX72NWX/) and $15.72(https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07DFRQPGN/)

Only a few sizes(XL and XXL) remain at that price

    • They'd be 12% normally anyway, as they fall under the "Clothing" category.

  • Pulled the trigger on something in my cart, nice. Thanks OP, thanks SB.

    • Hope you removed it first before going through the SB site…

  • +2

Yeah thanks for that, save for later, then add back to cart.

  • +1

How many times can we do this? Is it unlimited number of redemptions?

  • +12

I just checked with Shopback live chat and they weren't able to confirm if multiple transactions are allowed. They will send me an email by COB to confirm.

Edit: got my reply from Shopback

Thank you for reaching out to us via the live chat.

Upon checking with our relevant team, I was advised that the 12% cashback does apply for more than one transaction.

Hope this helps and have a nice day :)

Confirmed with rep here as well.
Unlimited transactions and $50 max cashback per transaction

      • Per transaction doesn't sound right. Multiple transactions to get to $50 makes sense though.

        • Rep said $50 cap per transaction

        • They have done $50 cap per transaction (unlimited transactions) many times in the past.

        • Per transaction just means you won't get 12% cashback on big ticket items (priced at > $465). Sounds reasonable. Usually larger items will have smaller margins.

          • @zzyss: Weird still no confirmation in the thread from someone official. If you go over the $50 risk and it caps out, then we would have been better off holding some purchases until tomorrow.

  • What if only a small portion of the purchase is amazon credit? Would it still be eligible?

    • +1

Contacted them for a confirmation. They said would get back to me by cob today

  • Wish Amazon had Samsung Galaxy Watch 42mm or 46mm at same price as on Black Friday ($299).

  • Anyone had their purchase tracked? I know it says 4 days but I just made a purchase with booking.com (2 days tracking) which tracked immediately after.

    • Some stores are faster than others

    • Mine tracked with 0 for the first time ever o_O

  • Any official confirmation here that multiple $50 cashback are ok?

    • Yeah, rep confirmed when I PM’d

  • Will this work buying a 12 month prime subscription?

  • If you purchase something from a 3rd party seller, can the manufacturer (Samsung in my case) refuse a warranty claim because it wasn't purchased from an authorized retailer?

Also, can I get cashback from 3rd party marketplace sellers?

    • can the manufacturer (Samsung in my case) refuse a warranty claim because it wasn't purchased from an authorized retailer?

Potentially yes, if it's grey market stock that didn't come through the local distributor they don't have to waranty it.

can I get cashback from 3rd party marketplace sellers?

      Yes.

  • Does the cashback apply for lightning deals?

    • Yes

  • $115 for 2 X Echo Show 5 is really cheap after cashback :)

    • There is a possibility that it will not be paid because the promo code is not listed on SB.

  • +3

Sadly can't see anything worth buying.

  • can someone confirm it will work for ram sold by amazon us via au?

  • nothing to buy! all my watching items are slightly more expensive! A personal jack !

  • 8tb wd drive with discount, last time cash rewards didn't track over Easter and I got nothing didn't follow it up either

  • I just got a tracking email from shopback but one of the items ($90) tracked as $0.00 cashback. The other items seem ok. And no, I didn't hit the $50 cap.

    • +1

ditto. something is up. rep plzzzzz

      • same here $0.00 cashback amount ?

    • I had this in a former purchase (tracking email showed $0.00 as cashback). When I went into my SB account, the status was "Calculating", and it stayed like this for a while. Just shortly after I contacted Customer Service, the status turned into a correct amount. From my conversation with Cust Support, I don't think it was changed by them; apparently, after some time (quite a few days), the calculated amount will appear.

      • Ah good to hear, ill wait a week and see what happens

  • +1

I made an order last night. I don't believe ShopBack calculated the cashback properly (after exclude taxes, shipping and packaging costs etc). My total purchases weren't massive, but its definitely well under 12% cashback.

  • When is this deal likely to come back?

  • I would purchase within the next few days if this deal comes back before xmas!

  • None of my purchases on the 12th of Dec were tracked at 12%, just their normal rates.

I have contacted them and am currently waiting on a reply.
