5 Months of Any TIDAL Plan for $6 (New Users Only)

210

Not as nice a deal as the now-expired $1.99 4-month Hi-Fi plan deal, but still, access to any plan for five months for 6 bucks isn't too bad if, like me, you missed the super-cheap one. No code required, offer is open to all until 30th December. Available to new users only.

  • For new users only. Won't work if you already have an account.

Thanks for pointing out my omission. Fixed!

    • are you sure?
I got an email for this promotion to the same account I just got the 99c deal on.

      • Try it. Didn't work for me.

        • Received the same email and signed up successfully.

    • can i transfer playlists within tidal?

  • Please make the title:

Rookie deal-poster mistake, sorry ;) I've changed the title and the text to reflect this.

Why would someone want 5 months off a plan?

    • Incorrect.

  • Be prepared though, Tidal uses a lot more data than something like Spotify, because of its higher quality.

    • Is the audio quality noticeably better?

      • +1

Through the right equipment it probably would be. I set the app to the regular quality as it makes no difference through my cheap headphones.

      • Yes Tidal is better and has a better selection of artists (some artists not on spotify but on Tidal as Tidal pay the artists better).

Tidsl also streams HI RES music while spotify doesn't.

Also data usage on normal Tidal similar to spotify but better quality due their encoding.

  • Yesterday i signed up $2 for hifi. Posted earlier in ozbargain. Disappointed doesn't work with Alexa

    • I haven't tried..but google search says tidal works on Alexa..you need to enable the skill..

      • Google search says it does, but I couldn't get it working either - Alexa thinks Tidal isn't available in Australia.

        • You can get it working, in an expensive roundabout way. Get a Bluesound player and using the BluOS skill you can get fairly comprehensive voice control over pretty much all the music streaming services.

      • I found out for US only

        • thanks for confirming

      • +1

Can also confirm what others have said that it doesn't work. You can enable the skill, but when you go to use it Alexa comes back with "Tidal is not currently supported in your region".

  • Good deal, Music selection and sound is good.

  • I’ve used the free trial in the past and received an email with this offer. My son (free trial previously too) was also able to sign up. So it’s not just for new users. Also worth mentioning you can sign up for the Family Plan (up to 5 users) for $6 as well.

  • If you participate in this promotion with a new account and Turkish IP (through VPN), you only need to pay 5 TRY (~1.2 AUD)
