    • -1

      Yes it does.

      • +1

        Yes it does not?

        • -1

          It has B28 and NFC.

        • -2

You should google it mate, lol.

@[Deactivated]: You should check the link.

            No 700mhz 4G
            No mention of NFC

            • -4

@Muzeeb: I see, why are you after 700mhz?

              • +2

@[Deactivated]: Why are you misleading potential buyers?

                • @Muzeeb: Sorry, I didn't read it all. I was excited to buy it.

                  • +1

@[Deactivated]: Well I hope you don't use tap and go with your phone or are with Telstra.

                  • +2

@[Deactivated]: It does not have NFC if it is the HK version.

                    • @cute as duck: Okay, thanks.

                      • @[Deactivated]: Band B28/700mHz is important for both telstra and to a lesser degree Optus also, as well as for potential re-sale value to others.

Samsung phones are good, mainly their flagships until these newer A series have come out as they represent great value. But did you know Samsungs actually used to have one of the worst failure rates of all phones, they have improved that last few years though.

                        • @ozhunter68: No, I didn't know that. I would love to buy a S line phone but they are expensive. In JB Hi Fi the S7 Edge is 499$… idk why this is the case its a three year old phone bassically four now.

      • Not sure if you're intentionally trying to mislead people, but you're 100% wrong.

The advertised phone clearly lists frequencies and features: B28 and NFC not on the list.

        • No, I wasn't, I was excited mate. On Toby Deals I looked on the title and just the price tbh.

I have the A50s which is a newer slightly upgraded model of the A50, basically the A50s has improved cameras .
I am very happy with my A50s BUT the reviews of both the A5o and A50s are mediocre.
I like the size performance screen quick charging etc and mine has NFC which works quite well. But NFC is only included on certain country specific models. I have the Thailand model.
I also like the dual sim.
The fingerprint reader is a bit slow but if you scan the same finger 3 times then it isnt too bad.
The A50 seems to attract fingerprint marks on the case but it has a clear cover included.
The camers work well but some reviews say the camera isnt good at night but I havent tried it at night.
This has been my best phone yet but read the reviews and make up your own mind.

Hi, thank you for that. I am getting a phone for the camera (for astronomy).
I have been watching a lot of reviews about the A50. This one is from Hong Hong, and have no NFC I read on reddit.

  • Hi
There is the A50 then the A50s and a new model the A51 is being released in Asia this month
The A50 had a 28mp camera, the A50s (which I have) has a 48mp camera and the soon to be release A51 will have a 48mp camera but also have 4 lenses as opposed to 3 in the A50s.
    There is a comparison here
    https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?&idPhone2=9806&idPhone…
The A50s has just had a price cut in Asia.
It appears the A50 was replaced by the A50s and the A50s will be replaced by the A51.
The A51 will come with Android 10 but the A50s should get the update as it is only a few months old. The A50 should also get the update as it is only 1 year old. But only Samsung knows for sure which ones get the updates.
Check out the reviews to make sure which model suits your needs.
Most of the reviews say the A50/A50s camera strugggles to get good night pictures, so it may not be good for astronomy. Check out the reviews.
I really like my A50s which I got at a good price in Thailand on Black Friday.

The A51 seems pretty good, but pretty expensive.

    • I am looking to pay at least around $350 beacuase they are budget phones.
