Received an email from David Jones at 8am this morning advertising their Day 7 promotion - 60% off of dinner sets. Included inside was a $10 David Jones reward voucher.

      me too. haha bought two lipbalms. I did spend a bit in DJ , only thing was I always forget to scan my DJ card as the Staff never asked us for it. i guess that sort of suggest that I don't spend enough, hence voucher to lure me to spend more.

    My wife didn't get one, but I got two - one to my normal account and one to a second account with a different email that somehow became orphaned when they changed systems. As I can't kill the second account (the email doesn't exist in the system apparently so I can't login to cancel it) I have no moral issues using the second voucher as well….

    Anyhow, used one for a 'free' shirt - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/506282. Only challenge was finding one roughly in my size that was also in stock at the local DJs.

    Difficult to find $10 item fram david jones that can is for click nad collect otherwise you need to spend more on delivery fee.

    There should be a search filter on which items are avaialble for click and collect.

    I also order from them few times to pick up on a specific store and get a reponse that they could not find the items o they will send the refund.
    I called to inquire and i was advise to visit a diferent store with stocks. they should be able to send the items from one store to another if they accepted the order for click and collect instead they ask me ot visit another store and it neeeds to be purchsae in store as it is not available for click and collect.

    They should atleast be able to send items from different store is they already accepted for click and collect and not advise the customer to physically visit another store.

      Used the last reward and a birthday voucher to purchase 3 packs of skinless salmon for $5 (840 g). Even without the vouchers good value at $32 kg for premium product.

          In the Food Hall, There is one in Malvern Central, CBD, South Yarra and Chadstone, but it may have closed. Maybe more. The Salmon is a special offer buy 3 for the price of 2, but I see it at that price often. Everything else is pretty pricey unless a deal or marked down.

            @Yola: Sounds like the other branches all have Food Halls; the branch I often go to - Glen Waverley - has such limited food offering. A pity. I did pick up the David Jones Choc and Cranberry Fruit Cake this time. Hope it is good. I have tried David Jones Christmas fruit cake many years ago and it was good. Hope it is still the case.

    Not sure what the deal was but for the last 2 days i couldn't find a single thing to do click and collect. So either the disabled it due to Christmas delivery close off times or they just couldn't be bothered fulfilling click and collect orders. Oh well maybe on the next one.

      noticed the same. wish they'd put a notice on the site saying c&c temporarily unavailable. either way i made it into store yesterday to find something to buy. better luck finding bargains that way because a lot of discounted items are particular to that store and wouldn't appear online anyway
