I just purchased the $100 gift card for $90, and I got the email with the gift card and code, added it to my account and the credit applied to my account all within 5 minutes. Hope that helps you guys!

was wondering the same thing, but might be too risky. Looks like the giftcard purchases goes through another webpage and different shopping cart from normal purchases. I reckon Ruslan Kogan is too shifty to allow double dipping on his business.
Normally the credit card rebate has nothing to do with the merchant.. it's out of the card issuer not the merchant, but this is just in general..

Guys, here is my overall plan.
Kogan currently has 10% off their Kogan Gift cards so I was planning on purchasing $540 worth which would get me $600 Kogan Credit on my account using the Kogan Black Credit Card within 30 days of approval.
1) Get approved for Kogan's Black Credit Card
2) Purchase $540 worth of gift cards (gift card value $600) at 10% off to rack up my min $500 spend on my Kogan Black Credit Card within the first 30 days of approval.
3) Eventually (not sure when) I should be get send the $500 Kogan Bonus credit for spending $500 within the first 30 days right.
So basically I would get $1100.00 of credit value at Kogan for only $540.00?

Might I add, I still have not received an order notification for the eGift Card I purchased, I literally only received the eGift Card Email with the code/pin to add to my account. Applied it instantly.

36mths is what the laws permit, my newly purchased coles-myer giftcard expires in 36 months

Have you applied the credit to your account? If you have, are you trying to get the Kogan First free trial?
I wasn't able to pay with giftcard because the Kogan First trial was in my cart.. Lucky I needed to buy some sim cards anyway and bought the sim cards with the Kogan First trial and without using giftcard. Then I was able to buy my other things and apply my giftcard balance and free shipping.

Ok, finally received my gift cards after around 15hrs from a vcdelivery email address and it went to my spam.
It was a blessing in disguise though as Kogan must've noticed that I had held the items in my shopping cart for so long and had not gone through with the purchase so sent me a discount code.

Purchased 10am on Wednesday. Sent in a ticket at through the help centre on Thurs 9:30am and received a reply at 2:45pm and received giftcards in spam at 3:24pm (gmail).
Did any of you buy them with a Kogan card? Did you notice your available point credit increase on purchase of these cards?
I noticed that, with my Kogan card linked to my kogan.com shopping account, my credit for shopping is immediately available. I have only spent a small amount, but it looks like every point is worth $0.01 on Kogan (normally 1 point earned per dollar, 2 points per dollar spent at Kogan.com). Is that correct? Because that's not bad at all - a 1% earn rate. My Citibank credit card points are only worth about half a cent when converted to Flybuys, or less than that when converted to gift cards.
I can't see the transaction on my credit card. Can I assume it didn't go through or does it take awhile?
I've got the same issue. Ordered on the 18th and only received email with tax invoice. Raised a ticket and is still waiting. Logged into view my kogan credit card history and can't even see the charges.

update: contacted cc support, they said kogan reversed my purchase. Even more pathetic as they didn't even bother to contact me to provide an explanation.
