    $35 only, only with Chinese tour guide but who cares. This is the cheapest and even cheaper than driving yourself.

    These Chinese tour even have the combo 3 tours for $139 (Great Ocean Rd, Philip Island, Puffing Billy, Sovereign Hill) which is really hard to beat. They only have Chinese speaking tour guide but you will won't really need to listen to them on the bus anyway.

      There is a compulsory $4-$5/day tipping fee for tour guide.

      There are 2 biggest Chinese travel agents sellings these tours - Extragreen and Grandcity tour.

      The Grandcity tour website only in Chinese but you can just use Google Translate or just go to their shop to book. They will pickup/drop off in Glen Waverley, Box Hill and CBD.

      The Great Ocean Rd tour is very popular and both companies are doing the same price for $35. The Philips Island and Puffing Billy tour most of the cost is for the entrance fee.

      This is the combo tour, pretty much you get the Great Ocean Rd tour free for the cost of 2 other tours

        Interestingly, it doesn't state that tips are compulsory (nor would I think it can do so under Australian consumer laws), so you could go and not tip.

          To be honest, it is how it works. These tour guide earn income from this tipping fee. If you don't like the way they works maybe considering using the tour from this post and pay $80. - $185.

      Tried to book the 3 for 2 at the Swanston office and we were told that they couldn't book us into a Chinese tour… 😔

          Bi-lingual was only available for GOR and Phillip Island…

          They said that they wouldn't book us for a Chinese only tour cos we wouldn't understand… 😬
