          I have personally seen several cases of Aspartame causing debilitating headaches. It has been proven to be a migraine trigger for some people even in small amounts. And based on the controversial circumstances surrounding it's legalisation I would never consume it. But each to their own.

            @aldroid: Like everything in life we eat, there will be a percentage of people that will have side effects of some sort.
            That site also links to another site stating that over 200 studies and more than 100 countries have all affirmed aspartame’s safety.
            So who is right and who is wrong ? One person on a personal website or the hundreds of studies ?

        Guess what. You can die from water toxicity and oxygen too.

        Nearly every element that your body is made from, can also kill you in sufficient quantities.

        Radiation, in correct doses… can actually reduce the likelihood of cancer.

        Basically - harm is a matter of dosage and quantity.

        Don't chew on 240 sticks of gum a day and you'll be fine.

          This is exactly the attitude the manufacturers of these chemicals want people to take. What about the cumulative effect? Aspartame is manufactured by Monsanto. If you think they have your best interests in mind, by all means continue to poison yourselves. When there are other products available that don't contain this crap, why would you take the risk?

                  @Kozhutki: I'd be more than happy to but I suspect it would be a waste of time and effort. Suffice to say, I eat wholefoods. I don't eat processed foods, refined sugars or artificial ingredients. I'm 47 years old and could bench you for reps.
