Thanks OP. Cashback won’t apply if a promo code is used.

  • Any deals on Pixel 2?

    • Why not just get a Pixel 3 or Pixel 3A? :/ The Pixel 2 is two years old already

      • -2

would prefer the 3 but don't think they are worth $250 extra

        • As someone who has the 2 and is now on the 4, you'll want the 3 for the battery life.

          Who's selling a brand new Pixel 2 for $300?

          • @kerfuffle: lots on ebay

            • @socheap: Are they brand new though, or used? Do they come with warranty?

Just cough up the extra $250 and get a Pixel 3 for peace of mind.

@kerfuffle: My Pixel 3a has 1.5 days of battery with moderate use.

            • @Jay-rad: The Pixel 3 has the highest capacity battery out of the 2, 3 and 4.

              • @kerfuffle: True but it also has a higher clocked processor sucking more juice making the battery life worse.
The Pixel4 has a 90hz screen and high specs as well.

If you want best battery life go Pix 3a

Just keep in mind Google is only offering guaranteed support (Android/security updates) for the Pixel 2 for 10 more months. The pixel 3 has it for 22 more months, which roughly matches the avg amount of time people have a smart phone for before replacing.

In practice the dates might extend a little longer. Googles guaranteed support for the Pixel 1 ended in October this year, though Google actually provided another security update for it in December saying it was the last one.

    • Just chiming in here, why would you want the Pixel 2? Besides it's obvious aesthetic improvements that could be made there is quite a few issues with it..

  • Thanks OP. Just pulled the trigger as I've been keeping an eye on prices and I don't think it's getting much cheaper anytime soon. White is not my favourite colour; any recommendations on a case?

Got mine but it had some green tint in one corner.
