      I use this arm on my 34inch Kogan ultrawide and it works fine after you adjust the tention. The main spec you need to worry about is weight however there is some wiggle room my screen is 6.6kg and it's fine.

            @18: TBH I just got it yesterday, and haven't had a chance to really use it, just quick setup and dead pixel test. So far looks good, and thankfully no dead pixels out of the almost 5 million of them! It's a Samsung panel in a Kogan casing, so screen looks good, but the build quality of screen housing and stand is cheap (hence going for an arm). The physical buttons and menu are clunky, and the stand is two pieces of steel held together with one screw! There's basically no adjustments other than the panel tilting up and down a bit (i.e. no height or swivel). With a decent arm, I think it'll be a great bang for buck at $499.

          Honestly I've been extremely happy with it. Gsync works perfectly, 2k 100hz seems to be a great middle ground between res and refresh rate and you can run 1080p 144hz if you need those extra hz. Where they cheaped out was the UI of the monitor but you shouldn't have to mess around with that too much tbh. Only thing I was disappointed with was the shitty stand it came with everything else surpassed my expectations. Fyi the bottom bezel isn't silver like it looks in the pictures it's white which looks much better imo.

            @ArchieD: Also forgot to add the spot to adjust the tention for the head of the monitor is quite hidden but it does exist. Monitor will flop downwards if you do not adjust it but once you tighten it as far it goes it will work.

      I think most people would recommend using two, one-monitor stands, as it allows for more flexible placement (assuming it's the same price or cheaper).

      I recommend 2 of these over the dual version, as I have the dual screen version of this the elbow sticks out. With the single (this item) you have more placement options.

      Yeah I second this - I bought the dual and realised You are a bit limited. Bought the single one for another desk and it does seem like it would have been a better option.

        Personal speculation. I installed about 80 of these under a different brand (everything else identical) and I've found them to be very sturdy.

          The North Bayou products are not marketed under any other brands, they DO NOT DO OEM production. They do have their own Chinese packaged version under EMMY Mount, but no other brands.
          There are certainly several look-a-likes, but I have found them to be inferior, right down to the poor quality steel in the screws.
