Eveready Gold Batteries AA 16 pack
    $1.18 per ea $18.81

This is surely a good deal !

    • AA does not equal AAA. Prices are always different for these…

not as good as the Energizer Max deal from Woolworths 2 wks ago, $8 for 16

Mate, you can't compare a current deal with a past deal. The price was $2 for 16 in 1962 but that doesn't make this one a bad deal.

OK deal, but much less capacity than alkaline batteries. Keep an eye out for the same sort of price ($8 to $10) for 10 to 16 energiser or duracell batteries, and buy up when you see it.

    • Hi BJReplay,i think eveready gold batteries are alkaline.please correct me if you think i am making a mistake.thanks

      • I would also like to know the difference between Eveready Golds and Energizer Maxx. They are often sold at the same or similar discount price so if there is one better than the other…

      • Sorry, you are correct, they are alkalines.

Comment still stands - you can often get energisezs and/or duracell on special for a similar price, and when you can, they offer better performance in high current drain devices than golds.

That said, the golds are not bad for middle to low drain devices, and will save you money over energizers.
