Been looking for one of these, best price I can find. Would have preferred electric but gas is ok with fire bans still.
Buying tomorrow, if you have seen cheaper tell me, if not hopefully it helps someone.

To really rain on your parade, for TOBAN's GAS BBQ's need to be under constant adult supervision.
So 12 hours standing around drinking beer to supervise sounds like a win.
Good price, never had one with a glass door though, so interested if this is a pro or con.Oh ok, I like smoking sausages ect in it :) so a few hours not 12, but I'd love a brisket ect.
How much gas does it use you reckon?
Unsure, I can do a few all day smokes on a bottle. Low doesn't use much at all. I have the Aldi (Hark) 2 door from Aldi, can't see this using any more\less gas.
Actually these days, I am spending more time 24-48 hours (ribs \ lamb racks) in the sous vide and then finishing on the smoker or grill.Lasts ages. Probably more than 48hrs.
I've got one that's over 12yrs old and it's still kicking on, although I rarely use it now. The igniter died many years ago so I light it with a long necked lighter. I've done 6hr smokes with what seemingly was fumes in the gas tank.
Be aware that the thermometer on the door sucks. Look to invest in an inkbird thermometer.
Also, if you want to do some cold smoking, look into a Smoke Bloke. This makes a great platform to use the Smoke Bloke.
You could also use a tube smoker like an amazen to increase/lengthen the smoke period. I found that the included smoke tray makes controlling the chips/pellets quite difficult. In my experience the chips/pellets would either smoke up too quickly or just not smoke at all.
This is the same as the Aldi smoker that seems to come back the same time every year around October for only $199. The Aldi smokers are made by Hark. The previous Aldi/Hark gas smoker had no glass window, otherwise the same. They are great little units.
Came on to say the same thing, I didn't know it was made by them but it looked similar enough. Also looks quite similar to the gasmate from bunnings. I have seen the Aldi one in clearance for 149 as they don't seem to sell out at 199.
Yeah depends on location. Most Aldi stores will sell out on the day, but some outlying stores will have them leftover so you can definitely grab a bargain.
$239 is still a good price though.
The aldi/hark smokers on special buy a couple of months ago did have the glass door.
Yes, the current Aldi smoker does.
The previous smoker does not.
Just be aware that smoking chips probably are under the banned list for total fire bans since its a solid fuel.
