For anyone after more Workzone batteries waiting the next tool special buys or just after the cells, spotted these at the clearance price in the locked display case at the Point Cook Town Centre store. About a dozen left.
Bunnings/Ozito may generally have the edge but good luck ever getting the 4Ah batteries at half the price!
Edit (5/01/20): it's in an upcoming special buy for $30 but I've seen a few stores now with the batteries for $20, one store even had it for $15.

When I last checked my local store they were still holding a couple of dozen in the cabinet for $35.
Have seen it at Birkenhead Point. Picked one up for the same price.
What I've noticed in the past with aldi, is that something like this after sitting around aldis for a while will suddenly disappear then comeback later to certain aldi's at the clearance price. The Aldi's with larger floor place do the clearance while the smaller aldi's get their stock stolen.
They have known to transfer all stock to new store openings and use it as a promotion for that specific store
My local Aldi never has the batteries on clearance. I asked one of the staff who said if they don't sell they put them out back again for next time they're in the catalogue
I have noticed that before, a few weeks before the item goes on sale again they put out the old stock at discounted price. Aldi do the just-in-time inventory model because they don't want to store anything locally, so it is strange they do that sometimes, but I've seen it
They had them discounted to $20 at my local… until about half went. Now they're back up to $40. I haven't seen them do that before.
Cheap 18650 cells! Been keeping my eye out here in Perth for the last few months but no luck so far. Only full price ones :(
My local had about a dozen for this price a few weeks ago I was going to buy some but decided not to.
I kept it to just 1 this time, giving me for now 2 tools and 2 batteries (and 1 disassembled battery from a previous $20 deal).
Was tempted to buy 2 yesterday but then figured that $20 would be better put towards a charger for these if I ever find one on clearance :P. And yeah if I ever needed more batteries I'll come across a store, for me rarely but eventually, that will have them on clearance again. Annoyingly I'd probably still prefer Ozito tools for the warranty, so stuck with their battery prices.
I already made myself an AEG battery to Workzone tool adapter when I first bought the nail gun (back then no batt specials). I've since bought batteries I saw on clearance - still no charger lol - but found the adapter idea won't always work as I picked up a Workzone circular saw half-price but then can't use the adapter because then adapted battery hits the shoe.
Anyone know if there are any left?
Five 4 amp batteries left at Werribee Plaza Aldi for $10 each, cheapest I ever saw. I bought free…
can you tell me what the yellow product code on the package? I found those on clearance with the 4-digit code while a few with 5-digit code is still full price. Luckily I asked staff to check price for both even though there is no clearance price tag.
So if you found stack of stocks, better check the price for each product code. I guessed the 4-digit ones might be earlier batches of catalogue sale hence the discount.

Updated deal after seeing another store with one battery left in stock price at $15, and a earlier in the week saw another store with a cabinet full at $20.
It's in the catalogue for $30 special buy soon so if you're thinking about it, better go shopping now.
After I checked many shop I can confirm that the one on clearance is with 4 digits code 6211. All those 5-digit product code was still full price.
And I went to the shop yesterday hope to get 1 more but to my surprise they put all the battery away. I found out that these batteries will be in Next Wednesday catalogue sale at cheaper price $29.99 and staff at Aldi has taken it all off the shelf maybe for stocktake.
In fact it has already been set at $29.99 now because I asked staff to get one for me with the hope he can get the $20 and the one he brought was not the one I want but it is scanned at $29.99 instead of $39.99.
If this is the case they may reduce to even lower than $20 after the catalogue sale.
Oops, my mistake, the clearance product code is 9771. But I checked today and all has been set at $29.99

after the last catalogue sale at $29.99 they have set the price all to $29.99 and many shops has now sold out.
You reckon this discount usually means across the country, or store by store?
