The latest Apple watches series 5 40mm (+others) is currently on sale at HN, $62 cheaper than Apple's RRP.

Also, the series 5 display is 30% larger than the series 3 display due to its smaller bezel.

      Thanks, fixed. Don't know why HN website say "save $30". I checked the Apple store, its RRP is $649. (I just bought the series 3, 42mm at $330, a few days ago.)

    battery life sucks, but watch is not bad.

    P.S. i'm no apple fan, i don't like most of its products.

        i bought series 4 for my gf on her birthday. it has never been able to pass 2 days :(

        i'm more old school, prefer automatic

        My series 5 sometimes makes it through the day with 20% left, other times it’s only 3~7%.

          I guess it depends on how many apps you have running…. mine still have 97% battery level after ½ a day of regular use. My series 1 last max 1 of day…

        Picked up the same! But unfortunately no Officeworks in my area stock the cellular, they all said its online only
        So JB price beat and i picked up the cellular nike version which is lucky cause the nike version isnt on sale at HN

        Not in my opinion but it depends on what your requirements are…

        Do you ever go anywhere without your iPhone and think you'll need to do something on your watch that requires Internet access that can't wait until you're back near your iPhone?

        Are you happy to pay the extra, ongoing per month cellular tax forever (i.e., subscription fee; e.g., Telstra charges $5 per month)?

        If no and no, then it's probably not "worth it"…

          If you're with an MVNO, there is also no plans currently to offer the extra number service for weables, so you're stuck paying for overpriced plans from the majors…

    Hearing the Stainless Steel model is better in terms of being scratch resistant, however, Officeworks don't stock it. Does anyone know of any places that stock the space black stainless steel model (44mm) and do price beat?

      Apple store would price match (but not price beat). They price match my series 3 purchase the other day.

              @tgpraveen: Don't think it works retrospectively, you need to specifically ask for it at the time of purchase. It is a global Apple store policy.

    I picked up a 44mm Series 5 Cellular for $725 with the 12% CR cashback from Ebay in November. Considering Apple's retail price is $850 (effectively $125 less), it was worth the wait. I'd recommend the cellular function- really dials up the functionality a level if you want to step away from having a full blown smart device in your pocket for a while.
