Also on my hunt at bunnings for the Nu-Tec Powerboard.

I've been looking to upgrade/supplment my 10+ year old packaged base model Makita blower, so did some research on the above mentioned blower. The lady at Bunnings half chuckled when she thought I was price matching for the difference of $1 until she realised herself that they beat by 10%, soooo, I had the last chuckle. In saying that - Be a man! Haha, any 50c to $1 saving always reminds me of this.

Bunnings had them reduced to $199 (from $219) did some googling and Mr Bunnings has matched the big retailers but I daresay missed little Just Tools in South Melbourne who have it for $198. Pricematch plus the free 5aH battery via redemption makes this a great price.

I considered the larger, brushless blower with speed settings, but this smaller unit actually has a higher speed output, it's lighter and significantly cheaper and will more than do everything I need it to.

Price matched at Bunnings yields a final sale price of $178.20.

    Only had a quick look, all fairly normal prices.

    I have considered upgrading but can't say I spent too much time studying them as a mower for me is more a want than a need at the moment considering I already have a small deck electric one that more than does the job.

    I had a 430mm 36v mower 2 years ago from Bunning, just died last week. Returned to Bunnings saying Makita could only offer repair not replacement.
    Makita is a very good brand selling top quality and expensive tools. I was surprised it only offers 3 years warranty and repair, while Ozita and Ryobi all have 5-6 years replacement warranty.
