      Depends on the usage. if you want to dock it for a better gaming experience you go with the original. If you want something compact and protable go for the switch lite. i dont think the case is compatible because theyre both different sizes

      EDIT: there was a $399 deal for 2019 Nintendo Switch which is good because that has more battery life over the original one. Better value is $429 Nintendo Switch and Mario Kart if you want an extra game that is also family friendly

      Get the 2019 full version!

      It's currently $399 on Amazon, but it was in the $320 range (with Mario Kart 8) during Black Friday and Boxing Day. So I'd hold out for a price under $380 with a game including. See this ebay deal: https://www.ebay.com.au/p/11034142000?iid=362865776347

      Being able to play it on a large TV is really great and worth the extra $100 or so. Plus you can use it to play family games together or with her siblings (if she has any) or friends. The docked/full version is still very playable in handheld mode.

      even though I've only taken my switch out of the dock twice in a year of owning it - for your 10 year old daughter the lite is probably perfect, think of it like the most amazing Gameboy ever.

      The lite version was as cheap as $220 over the Christmas sales, if you have time…wait. The cost of getting a few first party titles, an extra joycon and controllers, screen protectors, switch online subscriptions, cases, peripherals etc can quickly add up to over $700. Switch games and accessories are rarely on sale (with the exception of the indie titles in the eshop).

    i bought a satisfye grip (which i throughly recommended to anyone) but i unfortuantely didnt buy it with the grip case which i am now regretting as i cannot find anywhere i can buy it seperately. More of just a heads up to anyone who decides to grab a grip for their device

        Oh apologies, I didn't notice it's not the slim case in the deal (my bad!).

        Having said that you could probably find similar to the one in this deal on Aliexpress.

        Quick search and I see something similar for around $13AUD shipped using the new user coupon!

    Op, do you sell just a basic slim case? This one is too thick and I don't need to put game cards, battery etc. Just a switch and that's all?
